I have managed to convince my husband to go back to orlando in may 2004 rather than october 2004... we've been before in December and July so, can you tell me about weather, crowds and is the Star Wars weekend any good?

We went May 6-12 2003 and it was very hot and humid. We did not have any rain. We really enjoyed ourselves in spite of the heat. Just take pool breaks and have a great trip. Another plus, there were no lines to speak of anywhere. Have fun!

I'd like to know about this too. We went May 25-31 2003, and while I loved the Flower and Garden Festival, I did not love the heat. Hoping to go the first week in May next year to get F&G but less heat! I remember quite a few people at the Star Wars events, looked pretty well organized (I'm not a Star Wars fan so I didn't go to any events).

I have been 6 times now in the first two weeks of May (once was the second and third week). Of these 6 times 2 of them we had temps in the mid 90's most of the days. The rest of the trips varied from high 70's to an occaisional 90. The evenings have been beautiful to fairly warm. There have been 2 times when it didn't ever rain. The other four it rained for a short period of time once and one time twice. The humidy has varied as well.
Crowds have always been great except at the MK on Saturday and on its EE day.

Anyone know when the Star Wars weekends will be publicized? Saw such great reviews from them this year, DH wants to go next May also. But we want to take in maybe the first one (if they do multiple weekends like this year). Just need a date to start planning!
