All Aboard, you look to be my age (I'm 37) and my first time visiting was in '80. When I saw your first time photo, I died I called my husband over and he did, too!!! We got such a kick out of it - Just about every kid I knew was super skinny like that - There were no daily McDonald's trips to give us extra meat on our bones. And those tube socks are killers!!!
When we saw my husband's sister and her husband tonight we were telling them about the photos in this post and was talking about yours and my BIL says, did he have those tube socks on!?!?!!?
I have a few photos that we're going to post - my husband went the same year, 1979. As soon as I'll get them, I'll post them.
This is a great post. All these photos would make a great "Come Back To Disney" commercial!

I don't have a scanner, so you'll just have to trust me on this one. But I have a photo of my first visit to WDW in February 1972. The standard one with the castle in the background. But also in the background are folks walking around ... including one lady wearing a dress and high-heeled pumps! Not exactly touring clothes in this day and age

I love this thread...I don't have a scanner, but I have a picture from each disney trip (4) since my first one always on the same horse on the carousel.

This was my 2nd trip to Disneyland as we only live 90 munutes away. Lots of great memories.
Taking the raft to Tom Sayer's Island.

I still enjoy the Treehouse at WDW.

My dad, my sister and me in 82. We recreated the picture again in 94. Notice my sister is making a similar pose!Now that I think about it, the second was taken 12 years after the first and it's now 12 years later again! We need to plan a trip just to take this same picture again! (Doubt my dad will be able to lift me now though!)

What a great thread! Next time I'm visiting my parents I'll have to dig up our old Disneyland pictures. They started taking me when I was a baby, so there are bound to be some from the very early 80s!
