I'm not an ace of graphics, but I know Disney is... or at least, should be.

It bothers me that the dvcmember website's new logo is rendering horribly/fuzzy. Surely they can clean it up a bit - it looks like I've had one too many drinks at the bar.

very blurry for me too. It is clear on the sign in page, but once logged on the logo in the upper left hand corner is quite blurry.

I've looked at it on 4 different systems (home, work, netbook and ipod) and the printing, particularly the "Disney" part is messed up. It should have good clean edges. Compare it to the Disney logo from the parent website which is right above it.

Just want to add (in case someone in Disney sees this and fixes it, it's not just the Disney part, but the entire logo that's rendered fuzzy). I really don't want to find out one part is fixed while the rest is still blurred - that would be even more annoying

I got very curious and had to go and check it out and this is exactly how it is for me as well.

As much as I dislike the new logo, it is perfectly clear on my system, perhaps it might look better if it were blurry.

It is clear on my system. Maybe it has something to do with which graphics card is in the computer, or which browser you happen to be using. :confused3

Clear for me on the login page, blurry once logged in. I am on a new Win7 laptop with IE8. The video card is an NVIDIA GeForce GT 435M.

Revised to add: I just tried with Google Chrome on the same machine and it looks much better!

Clear for me on both pages, using Firefox. Maybe it's IE?

I'm using firefox here @ work. It could be the graphics card - I doubt this machine has a very good one - powerful machine, but not for rendering.

The home machine is also on firefox, but I can check chrome too when I get a chance. Like with MrsToad's, that machine has an NVIDIA GeForce card also - forget which model.

Clear to me as well, I still do not like it and prefer the old one but it is clear at least(clearly inferior to the old one)...smjj
You know I just checked and it is blurry on mine as well but just the logo, the rest of the page is clear. Never seen that on any other displays. I use both Firefox and IE. I am on Firefox now...smjj

OK, I just looked at in Firefox and it is blurry. I looked at it in IE and it is clear. Now I have to figure out why.....smjj

I think someone just fixed it... YUP! looks so much better! :cool1:

Thanks for stalking us Disney! ;)

ETA: just noticed the logo's built into the graphic across the top (it's not an overlay), so some screens on the member site display the logo clearer than others. This might be why some of us saw the blurry version and others didn't.... we were on different pages. Regardless, looks like the one at the top of 'Vacation Details' looks better now. It would be nice if they were all as clear as the logo on the 'Vacation Planning/Overview' page's banner ;)

I just checked again using the same laptop with IE8. The logo on the login screen is clear, but the one on the home screen (immediately after login) is still not as sharp. The other links to the right of Home (My Membership, Member Getaways, Vacation Planning, Membership Priviledges, News, and Contact) all have the crisp, clear logo, but when I return to the Home link, I still see the fuzzy one.

I'm on a Mac and it's clear with Safari, Firefox and Opera.

I just tried Chrome again and also Firefox; the logo is clear on all the links I mentioned. Very strange that I only see the fuzzy logo on one screen and in IE only.

Mrs Toad, the graphic might be cached. Did you refresh the second page after it loaded? I just checked them all. Where there was a clear difference before between the logos, they look the same to me now.

Someone took quite a bit of time to go through and fix them all :) (Very much appreciated!)

I just deleted my Temporary Internet Files (and Cookies for good measure while I was there) and relaunched IE. That one screen still has the fuzzy logo.

I have to log off now, but any other ideas for me to try in the morning? Thanks for your thoughts!
