NOW A TR: Just a little Trip for Two

So my mom has just decided that she wants to take my little sister on a girls trip in Feburary some time we are thinking it will be a chirstmas present for my sister. I'm supposed to pay half so Im hoping to get lots of money for my birthday and Christmas for that lol :rolleyes1

Where are you staying the first night & having chicken dinner??

You do know that WoC is standing.....not sitting.....which is a bummer....everyone could see if they allowed sitting.

Schedule looks good!!

Nice present for your sister!!! I'll be going back at the end of February for the Divas trip....maybe we'll get to finally meet up!!! (hint hint....plan for the end of February) :rotfl:

depends on my moms schedule but ill try :cool1:
Yeah I had heard it was standing (i just noticed that I put sit down lol wishful thinking I suppose) which is a bummer because I am not tall...nope not at all so im pretty convinced ill have a hard time seeing unless we were to get up against a railing maybe. We were going to stay at the Knotts berry farm hotel because Kayak said they had rooms for 48 dollars which I was like thats awesome but when I cilcked select it wouldnt let me book anything under like 80:mad: so I booked us at a best western inn suites hotel and suites its just a motel, but the pictures and reviews look ok so hopefully it goes well :)

Ok so every trip I go on no matter where there is the all mighty and important folder, it houses all our reservations addresses we might need anything important to the trip is in this folder. Ive just printed up the address for our hotels etc as well as the itinerary or dreams travel agent sent me into this trios. The folder always has a graphic that has something to do with the trip, Last comic con had batman the year before spider-man, a baby seal for sea world, last trip to DLR I had Tinker bell and this years folder has...

Phineas and Ferb YAY!:cool1:

In other planning news were three weeks out and I bought some of the travel stuff (tooth brush, tooth paste shampoo etc) and a new book for my kindle yay!

We love Phineaus & Ferb!!!!!!

So the chicken dinner you're having is Mrs Knotts?? Best thing about Knotts that's for sure. We went last summer & after 2 1/2 hrs....everyone was ready to leave.....no one enjoyed the park. I stayed with 2 of my boys so we could try out a couple more rides......but probably should have just gone back to the motel to swim!! Everyone came back & joined us for dinner at Mrs Knotts.......now that was worth going to!!!!!! Delicious!!!

:cool1: Down to 3 weeks.......so jealous!!! I'd love to be finding some warm sunshine about now........we get one nice day then its back to cloudy, cold & rainy.....yuck!

yes I love Mrs Knotts, I love boysenberry pie even more! I used to love knotts berry farm to, we went as a kid before the park was sold off and it was awesome I know that recently it was sold I believe to some Chinese company Im not really positive :confused3 I do know that who ever bought it ruined it. They've destroyed all the theming and its all roller coasters. My friends took me for my birthday a couple years ago my little sister, best friend, boyfriend, and brother all went. Three of which do not like big coasters. Im a little bit of a coaster junky so my brother went on everything with me but every time we rode one we had to live with the guilt of leaving three others at the exit. It made everything less fun. Plus the employees at the parks were awful many of them were riding rides on there break so spots that could have gone to a guest in line were given to a random employee that walked up through the exit. I was so disappointed we probably wont go back to the park for a while.

It's a bit tough. I doubt you are looking for a breakfast sandwich or burrito but both LaBrea Bakery Express and Jazz Kitchen Express have cheaper to go items that are more breakfast oriented and served hot. I think otherwise the cheapest breakfast that is served in a sit down fashion is Rain Forest Cafe.

You mike look at the menues on allears.net and see how they look.

I was thinking la brea bakery can you not sit down there?

La Brea Bakery does have tables to sit out there for the Express. It is not only for the sit down, but also the counter service.

I have been thinking about a "what if" scenario that would effect your plans.

I know you have accepted that the wait for LM will be long. What if people show up before sunrise to get in line for it? It's quite possible. This is a much anticipated attraction.

They might start two lines at night in the east side of the Espanade. One for LM one for ST. One line is taken through the entrance and right to the LM queue. Everyong lining up at the gates as normal are not in line for LM but the rest of the park.

It might be a get there extra early, or don't waste time getting there earlier than any other day senario.

The good news is LM should have a line the keep on shuffling forward so I don't think half day waits are realistic.

Just some food for thought.

I fully expect people to be there at sunrise for it (I slightly expect more people to be there at sun rise for star tours) I also expect to wait at least 4 hours for the ride. But frankly the ride has a 2000 person per hour load capcity and getting up much earlier then we already are would make us both cranky with two park days and a magic morning already under our belts by then, and the ride openings are going to make the parks crazy as is we dont wanna be crazy to. :confused3
