Now a bus accident?!?!

Okay first the monorail, now two buses crashing together. I don't remember this kind of stuff EVER before. Is it the same for anyone else, or is it more that because we're about to leave, I'm noticing this stuff?

Glad no serious injuries but boy can THAT put a damper on your vacation...

Meanwhile, bad drivers are everywhere................I think if I ever Really felt unsafe with a driver, Id seriously call the main number and complain while ON the bus though.....


We had a terrible ME experience years back where the guy played really loud RAP music the ride, no Disney anything and believe me people complained and many including us spoke up and when we exited I did complain as did many others. He was just a rude person and he shrugged it off and basically gave us all the impression we were "stuck" with him, so too bad.
Unfortunately we were stuck with him BUT we did complain....maybe he was disciplined maybe not...who knows.......

Honestly, I think this kind of stuff happens fairly frequently, but you don't really notice it as much until you're leaving. It was that way for us last trip, too. FWIW, I think major events (like the monorail crash) are quite rare.

I'm kinda surprised it hasn't happened more often. Do you see the way people drive around buses? Cut them off, speed around them and that's just other buses, people in cars are worse. It doesn't surprise me at all.

Monorail, buses, and planes with holes in them...yup, I'm looking forward to our trip in 2 months. lol Dh and I were talking about it last night and mentioned we have to get our Will done before we go! lol

It does seem unusual that there would be the monorail accident and now a bus accident so soon after--but monorail accidents are incredibly rare, so that doesn't phase me--and for all the thousands of miles Disney busses run, I guess I'm not too worried about that either. Now the hole in the airplane--that one freaks me out a bit!

When you are dealing with a person liek the "rapping" bus driver, turn on your video camera/phone, state your are now recording your camplaint and the many compaints of others and tell him you will be forwarding on his rude behavior to his supervisor. That ususally gets results.
