November weather?

Can someone who has been to WDW right before Thanksgiving tell me what the weather is like that time of year in Florida? We're considering a short trip starting Nov. 17.

Short version = warm days, cool nights.

Sometimes a cold front will come through and the high for the day might be only in the 50's or 60's, but that will only last for a day or two. Plan on highs in the 70's, maybe even up to 80, and lows down to 60, maybe into the 50's.

We were there this past Nov. the 6th-13th and it was WONDERFUL weather!! Shorts and T's all day and the kids wore a sweatshirt in the very early hours and very late hours. However, DH didn't even need his and I think out of the whole week I had mine on maybe once! But we are from IL. so it felt really great to us. We swam in the daytime and went to a water park on 2 days. We also took an evening swim on 2 nights and it was fine in the water but very chilly getting out! Our highs were in the upper 70's all week.

Our last 2 trips before that had been in Jan. so this was a much better trip weather wise! And we have all voted to go back again in Nov. this year instead of Jan.
It really is prefect park touring weather. With your trip being a couple weeks later I would say shorts and just a sweatshirt for early mornings and late evenings.

Watch the forecast carefully. We went once over Veterans Day weekend and it was warm the first day. The second day a storm came through and it was only highs in the 60's the rest of the week. We were not prepared, we had to buy sweatshirts.

We've been in Nov twice before and we've seen one day hit 90, but mostly 75-80 and evenings were nice, in the 50-60 range. You just don't know. Shorts should be fine during the day.

The last 2 years in a row, the weather was exactly what bdcp has described above me - we could not have asked for more perfect weather! Even when it was only 75 degrees, the sun was hot on your skin and it was plenty warm to go in the pools.
