November Wait List Thread

i am on the waitlist for VWL, BCV, BWV for 18 Nov - 27 Nov. I currently am booked in SSR for a studio. I have never stayed there and honestly nervous that we won't like it as much as VWL. I like the hotel atmoshpere versus the spread out setting but I do like OKW. SSR seems a little harder to get back to after parks vs VWL. I could be wrong.

ANyway, I dont think my waitlist will come thru. Been on it for 4 months. I called the other day and the CM said no studio was available these dates. I almost wish I would have taken it in pieces cuz I will never get 9 nights at once.

We've been on the waitlist since late June for a 1 BR For Nov. 21 and 22nd at SSR. We are booked at SSR from Nov. 15th departing Nov. 21. I really want to be there for Thanksgiving.

We have been on the waitlist for a 2 br at SSR for the exact same nights....we got on the list about the 3rd week I think in May.... I have us booked elsewhere for the last two nights. WE arrive on the 15th too and we fly out on the 23rd.

Well I decided to join you all in the Waitlist Game. I called last week for BWV 1 bdr. standard for 11/25-12/1.

If it doesn't come through we still have our ressie at OKW.

my waitlist for my last studio preferred boardwalk view for Nov. 22 finally came through a few days ago!!!! YAY ....someone will get the preferred garden view i had before my boardwalk view became available for that day... i have been on waitlist since Jan.3...so you may have a chance.....

I am still waiting for November 9th-10th at the BCV for a 2 bdrm. I called today and it has not come through yet. I decided to be put on the waitlist for a studio and a 1 bedroom there too just incase one of those room types comes through we would only have to switch rooms once.

So now I am waiting for one of these to come through at BCV

I just checked my reservation and I made it on June 11th. I started to go with the 2br but I would have had to waitlist 3 nights. Good luck to you!

I have a confirmed 2br at SSR in case that one doesn't come through, which I'll be perfectly happy with. I was just looking for a change.

Add me to the waitlist, too. I called this morning for a studio Nov. 11-17. All dates were available at SSR except for Nov. 11.

This will be a solo trip for me. My only son enlisted in the Marine Corps and will be leaving in October. I really need this trip to relax and not worry about him.

We're still waiting on a 2 bdrm for 11/22, Thanksgiving night @ any DVC resort. I keep checking the website everyday to see if my pts. have dropped. I still have my fingers crossed!

We are confirmed for 1BR at OKW for 11/26-12/1. Flights were sky high for those dates so booked 11/23-12/1 for MUCH cheaper. Didn't want to use points for 11/23-24 so got POR with AP discount and added 11/25 when couldn't change OKW ressie. There was nothing anywhere for a 1BR 11/25 so I'm waitlisted for 11/25 1BR OKW and also 11/25-12/1 any 1BR.

Glad I just joined the "club" as I don't think I could handle waiting as long as some have. Really have my fingers crossed for something but at least we have POR as a back-up.

I called to release us from the WL for 11/23 in a 2 bdrm @ any DVC resort. We decided to stop @ our in-laws in SC on our way back to NY for Thanksgiving dinner. I hope that this opens something up for someone else - Good Luck!

We are doing a very happy dance here! Our waitlist for a studio OKW on 11/22 came through today. We are taking my MIL and FIL for their first trip to WDW with grandkids - actually they (MIL & FIL) haven't been there since just after Epcot opened. We already had one OKW studio booked for that night and had a second on via cash reservation in case the waitlist didn't come through. OOO it is a good day today!

Also waiting for a Preferred View for the 7th and 10th. I have a standard view booked right now, Hey anyone with a preferred view looking for a standard on the 7th and 10th I will be Happy to switch with you.

I just called today to check on my wait list and I had gotten Nov. 9th in a standard view I don't care what view I get as long as I have a room. So now all I need is Nov 8th. So right now I have 31st - 7 in Preferred and the 7th -11th in a standard but missing the 8th and a preferred the 11th 14th.
Hopefully after I get the 8th I can then wait list and try and get the preferred view straight through my whole stay.

I was getting worried over the weekend because I told that all DVC was booked for that weekend so I called Disney and tried making ressies at one the the other hotels after an hour on the phone they found me CS for the
8th and 9th. So I booked it, then today I found out I did get the 9th with BW. So I'll call and cancel the 9th at CS and just hope the 8th comes through with BW.

At Least I have a place to sleep right now for my complete stay in Disney, even though it is a lot of moving.
