November vs December?

i did mid-November in '14 and really liked it. Christmas theming was up at the parks (though not 100% of it) and kicked in at the resorts about midway through our trip, at least at Fort Wilderness. Crowds were lower than average at that time.

depends on your goals. some of the resorts do not theme up until after Thanksgiving so if you wanted to see the big tree at the Wilderness Lodge for example, you may miss it in November. Epcot Candlelight Processional is epic and you won't see that in November. crowds will likely be higher in December.

all told I'd still do November.

I did choose the week before Thanksgiving for our 2021 trip. It’s the week between Veteran’s day & Thanksgiving with no non-work/non-school days so it’s a little quieter and the weather tends to be a littler warmer! Which is nice for us since we come from the Midwest and like to swim. It also usually has most of the Christmas decor up and doesn’t interrupt my Christmas decorating & planning back home. We’ve traveled over thanksgiving (2018) and mid-December (2019) and I’m looking forward to this earlier date! It also happens to fall over ds birthday (which is also Mickey’s birthday!)

If you want to take advantage of the pools, etc., I would do November, the weather is usually nice enough to get a few pool days in and some, not all, of the Christmas decorations will be up. If you want to be immersed in all the Holiday decorations and other things (if they have them), then go in December.

We did 11/13-17 in 2019 and it was a great time. F&W wasn't over yet at Epcot so we got to enjoy that as well as the Christmas decorations starting to pop up everywhere.

As PPs said, not everything will be up yet. If your goal is to be completely immersed in Christmas, then you'll probably want to go in December.

I'd go back during that November spot in a hot minute, but I've never seen the CP at Epcot so that would probably be the tipping factor for me.

Both are good, but I prefer December to see all the decorations.
