We have a stay in Orlando planned for November 6 - 13th, staying at Calypso Cay in a villa we have already paid for. We think we might do Seaworld and the Universal parks and not Disney. What do you think crowds will be like at this time? We have 3 kids who will be 8, 5 1/2 and 2 years old. How many days should we plan on to see US and IOA? Will it be warm enough for swimming? Thanks in advance.

One day each for US and IOA. With kids that age you might want to add another day for favorites or shows that you missed. We can do SW in a day but you might want to take 2 and take your time. Warm enough to swim? For you from Mass. should be OK. Some of us Floridians might not join you.
The weekday attendance should be very light but you will want to follow a touring plan that takes you to the most popular attractions early.

We are going to be at WDW Nov. 8 - 14. These particular days can be a bit more crowded than other times in Oct. & Nov. because of Veterans day. There will also be a lot of people from NJ because they have a block of days off for the holiday and teachers workshops. It will not be as crowded as peak times such as Thanksgiving, x-mas and Easter.

We have always been able to swim in Nov. (being from Mass!) Weather should be comfortable - warm enough for shorts but not oppressive. Bring one sweatshirt each. Remember - there are several rides & attractions in US/IOA that will get you soaked - pack accordingly!

I think 3 days for US/IOA would be good. We had 3 kids of similar age our last trip and we actually spent 5 days doing those 2 parks - but we went at a very leisurely pace with afternoon breaks in our room. Like Mother Fletcher said, you could spend one day in each park and a 3rd day to hit the highlights.

I was there last year at that time and the crowds were really nice. Not a long wait at all. I thought Seaworld was unusally crowded the day I went though. I have no clue why.
