November Trip

We are planning a trip for November this year to DW & Universal and I have a few questions!

I've heard that Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are very busy on Thanksgiving weekend. Can anyone tell me how busy the parks will be leading up to Thanksgiving? We plan on staying Saturday 11/17 through Wednesday 11/21. We will be staying onsite.

Also, I just read that Jaws has been shut down. Does anyone know what they are replacing it with and when it will be open?

Since we are staying onsite we want to make sure to be at Harry Potter World an hour before the park opens. Will there still be a wait for the FJ at this time? Also, if we are wanting to come back in the hour before closing, how busy is Harry Potter World at this time?

I've also heard that the Universal Express passes make it so there is virtually no wait. However, someone said they are planning on changing the policy. Has anyone heard something like this? I just don't want to get there and expect to have a short wait and end up having to wait in long lines. I'd rather be prepared ahead of time!

Thanksgiving week up to Thanksgiving day is moderate sized crowds.It won't effect you too much since you are staying onsite and have express pass.
JAWS was closed and Demolished.Nothing has been announced yet to replace it ( though rumors have it as a HArry Potter expansion).Since nothing has been announced, obviously no time frame has been given.
IOA Opens an hour early to Resort guests for WWoHP.Forbidden journey will have minimal waits.At the end of the day, HP can have short waits, but on a holiday week not sure and since Forbidden Journey does not take express pass, you will wait some.
Express pass cuts waits down.Most times little to no wait, during a holiday week you might wait 15 mins.The only thing they were changing for the resort guest pass that I am aware of is that they were having guest PHOTOs on the express pass to avoid people sharing with others not staying onsite.

Thanks! Any advice on which days are best for each park? And which day would be best for Seaworld? We are there Sat 11/17 to Wed 11/21 and we are wondering which day we should spend at the pool?

Couldn't give you best days off the top of my head, but my DH and I are headed there for Thanksgiving too so I checked the crowd calendar on Undercover Tourist. It shows which days are best for each Universal Park as well as Disney.

I see that they no longer have 7 day passes or even 14 day unltmd passes, the expense to purchase ticket for 7-9 days by buying 4 day and 3 - 4 day more is totally out of the question. What are my options to get tickets pk to pk unltmd to cover the three of us for 7-9 days without breaking the bank. Any suggestions woud be appreciated. If any one could let me know what to expect the weather will be like Nov 27th- Dec 6th it would be great . Thanks so much.
