November specials

Hello, newbie here. Hope I'm asking this in the right forum. But my wife and I are thinking of taking our kids to Disney World first week of November (teachers convention here in NJ). All specials I see listed so far end in October. Anyone know if they normally run some kind of special for first week of November? if so, what is the norm? Would love free dining but can't be picky I guess. Also, if we were to book now without a discount, if one comes up could we then switch our reservation to the discount one? Thanks in advance for the info.

Hi, and welcome! There are a bunch of pin codes going out recently including free dining through December and room discounts. You can register at the Disney site and make sure to complete your profile and then save a couple of vacation offers. I recently received two pin codes for room discounts by doing so. I already booked with the 35% off room pin but now I'm waiting to see if I get a pin for FD, or, if not, if it's offered at some point this summer again. Last year, free dining was offered toward the end of July, good through December. Yes, if you book your trip now it's easy to call and apply a discount later. Good luck! I was there at the end of Jersey Week last year and we had a blast! Great weather, no rain at all, not too crowded either.
