Hi There!

We have decided to plan a DLR trip in November! The dates we are thinking are Nov. 16-21(Mon-Sat). I read that the Christmas season starts 11/13 this year. Does anyone know if ALL the Christmas activities(fireworks, parades, raindeer round-up, lights on the castle and snow on Mainstreet) are going on during that time?

I was also wondering if anyone knows what the park hours might be for that week. I was thinking 10:00am-8:00pm Mon-Thurs and 9:00am-12:00am on Fri-Sun. I saw this on laughingplace but it is the Nov. shedule. For some reason they didn't have 2008:confused3

How are the crowds that time of year? I chose the week before Thanksgiving week hoping the crowds will be not be to bad.

Last question, for now;) - How is the weather in Anaheim that time of year? Does it rain?

Thank you so much for any input you may have!!!!:worship:

We usually go the first week of November each year and the weather is usually still nice, but we are from Texas so its all relative I imagine! Last year, it didn't rain, was cool in the mornings, warmer towards midday and cool again after sunset. We wear coats at night but it always seems colder in DL to us as its always hot here.

We went that exact week in 2005. The crowds were amazingly low:thumbsup2 We were surprised by weather in the 80's, which I had not planned for. We had to try to buy shorts so that we did not cook, as I had not brought any. The good thing was that they were all on sale. I know we saw the Electric Parade, and think the other stuff was running on that Friday too, but we left on Friday, so I am not 100%.

I do hope the crowds will be fairly low during that time! I wouldn't mind the weather being so nice eiether!

We are going the 12th-16th. According to the disney website the christmas season starts on the 13th so that SHOULD mean that everything is up and running (parades, fireworks, snow . . .) but with what happened with Murphy the dragon who knows. :confused3
We are planning on it all being up and even hoping to take the Holiday tour. I am so excited I have always wanted to see Christmas at DL. :cheer2:
Historically crowds have been really light, but this is the first year they have started the holiday season so early so it is untested grounds. I would plan for cool night and warm days (high 70's low 80's) with possible rain. :wizard:

Thank you for posting:) I spoke with a CM yesterday and she said that ALL the decorations will be up and the SM will be running. I asked about fireworks and other activities such as reindeer round-up and parades and she said they will be going on as well. The only thing she couldn't tell me is the scheduling yet. I know we went in 07 the first week of December and the fireworks were nightly. Not sure if they will be nightly this early in the season or just on the weekends. I will keep you posted if I should hear anything else.
:thumbsup2

We will be there the 13th - 17th...

I had no idea the Christmas decorations will be up... Very happy news!! Glad to hear SM will be up and running... I was worried it might be down to take off the Halloween overlay... this is my all time favorite roller coaster and my almost 8yr DD is planning to ride with me :)

GREAT!!! I am way too excited for it being over 2 months away. My family thinks I am crazy (they are right) but I have always always always wanted to see it snow on mainstreet!!! This is my lucky year:rotfl:

And I can not wait to buy Christmas Minnie ears!! :woohoo:

I can't find any information on their site regarding the Holidays and on DisMain it says that the Holiday events start on 11/20:confused3

Never mind... I found the information on their website... starts 11/13... Super excited now!!!

I am going Nov 17-21 :cool1: In 2004 I went the first week November and it was great. Crowds were low, weather was nice (cools off in the evening) and the Christmas decorations were up. I got to see it snow on Main St after the fireworks and the electrical parade. It was so magical. I'm thinkin the schedule will be posted in October and I'm anticipating the electric parade and the fireworks only on the weekend, then if it is during the week it's a bonus!:dance3:
