So...I subscribe to the theory that you can generally tell how crowded they expect the parks to be based upon the park hours for a particular day. Long hours mean long lines!
While I completely understand why Thanksgiving week has long hours, I'm a bit befuddled by the week after Thanksgiving. DLR opens at 9:00AM, whereas in the weeks prior to Thanksgiving, it doesn't open until 10:00AM. Is residual Thanksgiving traffic expected the Monday *after* Thanksgiving? Or would it generally be a safe day, despite the slightly longer hours of operation? I'm confused...I thought it would be a great time to go, but now I'm not so sure.
