The hours are out for November but still nothing for parades / fireworks. Is it possible that there won't be any? Or, anyone know when (and what days) they will be? This will be our first trip to DL and we are used to planning way ahead for WDW so this last minute stuff is a little hard for us. Any info would be appreciated.

BTW, we will be there from the night of 11/1 to 11/5.

Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I thought that might be the case (weekends only) but was still a little optimistic because nothing is listed for the weekends either.....yet.

The entertainment schedule for early November is now posted. I too have been anxiously awaiting, as we will be there Nov 2-6. It looks like 11/1 is your best opportunity if you'll be in the parks that evening.

No fireworks though...We'll get to see the Halloween ones earlier in our trip but really wanted to see the regular ones as well :-(

Holy, I was a little stunned by this. Booked our Anaheim dates based on the old 'don't go to DL on the weekends' and there's no night shows or fireworks at all. I think we're going to have to do DL on our last Anaheim day (Friday) which I wasn't planning but, I have to say, I feel a little jipped to pay the same price w/out any fireworks or Fantasmic. I expected, being a slow time of year, maybe Fantasmic wouldn't be on but I didn't expect no fireworks at all. To me, it's the shows and fireworks that make me Disney worth the money.

Bummer but true. This has been how DLR has worked for as long as I can remember.

Hmmmm, so reading your notes, Hydroguy, I have to decide if I want the park quiet or to see Fantasmic. That's definitely a consideration b/c I know how much more enjoyable a Disney day is when it's quiet!

For people with your priorities it would seem the best option is an off-season visit on weekdays that overlaps a weekend to catch the entertainment.

If it was me and I had three or four days I would for sure stay on through Friday because Friday is like a weekday during the day although it is like a weekend at night as far as park hours and crowds and entertainment.

Staying through Saturday gives you the advantage of having two evenings to catch entertainment. That will be an even bigger deal come Spring 2010 when DCA opens its highly anticipated World of Color night time show. Between Fantasmic and fireworks at DL, the Electrical Parade which has been at DCA but may be at DL next year, and World of Color, having two nights to see entertainment will be a big advantage.

No fireworks that 1st weekend. Too late for Halloween fireworks, too early for Xmas fireworks, and not worth setting up Magical for one weekend. Bummer for those at the parade filming that weekend.
