I'm just now planning our November vacation down at WDW, and I'm SO dissapointed to hear about PI and AC closing! My wife has never been there, and now it looks like she won't get the chance. :sad2:

Anyway, what are some decent alternatives in Orlando? We're not really into dancing or heavy drinking, but we definitely will need some grownup time after spending the day in the parks.

I know about Jellyrolls, but there just HAS to be something more, right?

Well, if you have transportation you have Arabian Knights, Dixie Stampede, (alot of different night life around the Orlando area, believe me go to International Drive and you will see all kinds of action)Walking around the World Showcase at a leisurely pace, window shopping at Downtown Disney, Cirque, Quest.... Yes, AC and PI closing is a HUGE disappointment but there are many other things to do at DW ...
Enjoy your November vacation, that is a nice time of year to go....

With the closure of PI, Disney is pretty much giving up on nightlife to speak of. Most people would recommend Universal's CityWalk as the best alternative. One price will get you an armband good to visit all the available music clubs and it's half the price of what Disney charged for PI. International Drive doesn't really have much in the way of nightlife; Howl at the Moon is similar to Jellyrolls; Backstage Lounge at the Rosen Plaza Hotel gets a good crowd to it's live band playing rock anthems; Destiny Night Club on Universal Blvd behind Wet'n'Wild has techno on Friday nights. With few exceptions, the rest of the night life is in downtown Orlando.
