November MK Park Hours Question

Just noticed the MK park hours for Saturday November 8th are 9am to 10pm. FOund this strange as all other days in November (apart from Thanksgiving) have hours of 9am to 7pm. What is so special about the 8th?. I know there are various things on during that week (Jersey Week, Epcot Food Festival, Soap Weekend etc). But I don't see what the relevance of any of these events have with the MK. Are they expecting some huge crowds on this day? Is it a public holiday?. Please help as I am planning to be at MK on that Saturday. Thanks

It's probably just because they anticipate larger crowds that week (with all the stuff going on that you mentioned, Soap Weekend, etc.) and since Saturday is normally the busist day at Magic Kingdom, they've extended the hours. If you can go any other day of the week, I would recommend it!

It's also Veterans Day weekend. They often will extend Saturday hours closer to the date if they expect big crowds.
