november is officially "use your stash" month

Since we all did so well spending money in october...

I think it is time for the use your stash challenge. (this is not a no spending challenge, so no-one needs to panic) It is just that I have a ton of new stuff from my spending spree last month and I need to use it before I buy a bunch more stuff. I will probably have to go and buy the celtic numbers set to go with my alphabet sets but with a coupon at AC moore that should only be about $6. Did a one page layout tonight with stash stuff.... maggie

Guilt got the better of me this weekend, and I am almost done with our 2001 trip to France. I plowed through 10 pages using nothing but my "stash" of accumulated bits & pieces! I guess that's the good thing about waiting 2 years to finish - LOL!

I also did 2 pages of our last Disney trip, 2 pages of DD's May recital, and started a book for DD with all layouts of her best friends.

WOW! I haven't done this much in YEARS!!!

Unfortunately, Nov is going to be Move out of the old house and into the new. Doubt I will get any scrapping down at all. Maybe in Dec. I can use my stash. I have done very little scrapping the past few months but still buying stuff. LOL

I have been trying to use only my stash but the sales at AC Moore have been to good lately to stop shopping but, once winter hits I'll have plenty of stash to work with. LOL

I am going to only use my stash starting today. But my LSS dropped everything to 75% off yesterday, so I had to buy a few more things. But now I am going to use what I have. I am going to be a scrapper and not just a collector of scrap materials.

I too got more done this weekend than I have in months.

From stash, completed:
2 page layout for DH's military album
2 different pages for 2000 WDW trip.

I AM DETERMINED TO GET THAT TRIP DONE IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aarrgghh

Taking a quick 5 day trip to FL in Dec to visit mother-in-law...with just 1 night at WDW for MVMCP. Taking my parents from MA along on trip with us -- sort of a late 50th anniversary trip --and their first time to Disney. Must finish 2000 trip before I come home with more pics! LOL (Thank goodness 2001 trip is done.)

Maggie, you'd be proud of me. I actually opened up my wire kit that I bought 5 months ago and finally used it!!! Also used several items that I had never before: tiles, safety pins, and stamps.

I like this challenge! Hopefully it can keep me honest.
