November Honeymoon

My tentative plan for my upcoming honeymoon is:

Fri-Sun: WDW
Mon-Thurs : Disney Cruise
Thurs-Sun: Universal/IOA

My question is what do you guys recommend as the best way to go from 1) airport to wdw 2) wdw to cruise 3) cruise to universal ?

Would a rent a car be best/cheaper or is there alternatives?

We will be staying on the boardwalk.

I would take DME from MCO to BW. To get to port, I would be very tempted to let DCL get me there. You could rent a car, at the Dolphin, and drive to port. You could either return the car at port and take a shuttle back to the ship, reversing it for your drive back, or just keep the car and pay to park it right at the ship. Then drive to US/ IoA. If you do DCL transfers, just go back to MCO and get a car service to US.

We did a 4 night on the dream as the 1st part of our honeymoon in November 2012. We stayed at the Grand Floridian after our wedding, Friday-Sunday, took a car service (Mears luxury SUV) to port canaveral, and then the same driver picked us up Thursday after the cruise and drove us to AKL for the final leg of our honeymoon.

We used Mears because we had been using them since we arrived in FL before our wedding - the driver who transferred us from Buena Vista Palace to the contemporary before our wedding was wonderful - so my husband made the arrangements for the cruise transfer with him. Since we used Mears to transport our wedding guests to and from our events all weekend they gave us a nice discount on the port canaveral ride. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, though you might find a cheaper car service.

DCL transfers get you to port canaveral on the later side of the check in process which may not be an issue for you - DH and I had an 11 PAT and wanted to get on the ship as early as we could to explore.
