Going down 11/13 thru 11/17, have questions though. Three years ago, went during Jersey week, two years ago went during Thanksgiving week.

What can I expect crowd wise comparable to the other times I went?

Any planning ideas of what parks to hit Sunday, as we get in late Saturday night??

Be sure to read the posts around 11/9-11/10. We are going 11/2-11/7 and I will send out an FYI on the crowds, weather, etc. Hope that gives you time to prepare but I haven't been in Nov before. From all I can gather the wait times are 15-20 min. I would suggest early entry on Sunday to MK. Some even say crowds are fewer on weekends because people travel. I've never been able to tell a lot of difference.
What/when is Jersey week? pirate:

Hi,
I also am arriving on the 13th! YEAH, I can't wait! Anyway, I was there last year the week before Thanksgiving also and I thought it was a great time to go. The crowds are very managable and you still get to see some of the X-mas decorations. As far as Sunday goes, I stay away from parks on early entry days because I do not take advantage of the early entry. So, if you like to go early, then MK may be good for you. Sunday is also the last day of the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. I went on the last day last year and found it a little crowded but not too bad that you should stay away from it. This year for our first full day (Sunday) we decided to do a water park if it is a nice day or downtown disney. My kids LOVE Disney Quest. They like that just as much as going to the parks. HAVE FUN!!!

I'm going the 13 - 20. I think the weekend will be busy. Super soap weekend and the end of the Food and Wine festival will draw some crowds. I'm planning on AK for Sunday because I'm figuring it'll be empty with all the other attractions.

MK seems like it'll be better on Monday:
1. It's not the EE park
2. It's the day after EE
3. No special events at the parks.

I just hope no one else has the same idea as me :D

And, jmclester, Jersey week is when you're going. It's when all these people with funny accents go to Disney World. Search for it. You'll still be OK, but plan.

OH!!! THANKS Gaiusrex, I forgot all about Super Soap Weekend! I am glad I did not plan on MGM for that Sunday and now I will be sure not to change my plans to include MGM for that day.

That is funny!!!
:hyper: My cousins from PA used to make fun of us for talking funny when it was actually them that were talking funny!

We'll be there Nov. 12-19. I think the weekend will be busy with Super Soap Weekend but the following week shouldn't be too bad.

I've been calling to make PS this week for all our character meals and the phones have seemed busy at Disney Dining. I did manage to get CRT and it wasn't too difficult.

We are going to try the EMH days with the exception of the weekend and then play it by ear towards the end of the week. My kids are young so we'll probably do MK the most.

As crowds go, what is your experience with "Jersey week"? Projected park hours show the parks closing early so is it really that bad?
