November Extravaganza: Two Weeks. Two Trips. Twice The Fun!

Hello all!

I am new so I should probably introduce myself...

ahem...

I am Kyli, a long time Disney addict and I do not plan to stop. I have been to WDW almost as many times as I have been alive (Thanks mom!). I am planning my 19th trip which will be a "last minute" trip in November. I have not booked yet but plan on it by the end of the week.

I know, I know I should have booked sooner. However, this trip is a last minute birthday present for my best friend and business partner.

It all started last June when I started saving for our trip this April/May. I had to drag her to WDW but she cried when we left so needless to say I converted her.

We stayed for 4 nights and five days, it was a birthday present for myself really and we had a blast. We stayed at POP which I had never stayed at before and it was AMAZING. I had never stayed at a value resort before and POP was just...wow.

ANYWAYS, we sadly had to leave and I took a look at the old Disney savings account and noticed that we had left over Disney money. Thus the scheming for her birthday began.

Her birthday was technically in August and I was going to surprise her with a trip (she has some serious Disney blues right now) a week after her actual birthday. BUT life as it is kind of got in the way with some last minute business plans and events that took place and needless to say we are not in WDW right now.

I can't complain too much though since it has given me time to save a little extra Disney money and now I am planning on a 7 day trip for us in November. I can still get reservations at all the restaurants that became her favorites and of course my long time favorites which is nice plus the F&WF will still be taking place in EPCOT.....AND a chance to see BOTH the fall decor and the Christmas decor in one trip. How magical is that?

Anyways....

I have never done a trip report before so if you have questions or want to know anything about our last trip let me know...or plans for the upcoming trip just ask away.

I have over 4k pictures from the April/May vacation soooo....yeah....I can't post them all!

It is official! Everything is finalized and all I am waiting for are our Magic Bands and Magical Express tags to come in the mail.

Currently this is the plan:

Day 1: We will arrive at MCO around 9:35am and will check in at All Star Sports and get settled into the resort. We will explore Downtown Disney and some of the other resorts during the day until our dinner reservations at Shutters at Old Port Royale.

Day 2: Magic Kingdom!

We have FP+ for Big Thunder Railroad, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain. No dining reservations on this day as we plan on filling up on Casey's Hot-dogs

Day 3: E.P.C.O.T

We have FP+ for Mission Space, Spaceship Earth(We will change this one), and Soarin'. We also have a lunch reservation for Coral Reef. The rest of the day will be spent tasting every food item we want at the festival.

Day 4: Hollywood Studios

FP+ for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, and Lights, Motors, Action!. No dining since we plan on eating from QS most of the day.

Day 5: Animal Kingdom

FP+ for Kali River Rapids, Everest, and Dinosaur. Lunch at Tusker House (LOVE this place!) since the park closes earlier than the others we will either go back to Downtown Disney or swim at the resort.

Day 6: Magic Kingdom AGAIN!

FP+ for Big Thunder, Under The Sea, and Wishes. <3
No dining reservations again as we really could live off of Mickey Bars, Dole Whip, and Casey's!

Day 7: Last Day

We shall spend the day relaxing and preparing ourselves for the long walk to the bus that takes us back to the real world and begin planning our next trip xD

November 6: Magic Kingdom
November 7: Departure Day but no Disney blues BECAUSE......*drumroll*

November 9: Arrival Day at Coronado Springs & Solo Day
November 10: Meet With Family @ Magic Kingdom
November 11: Park Hopping
November 12: Park Hopping
November 13: Park Hopping
November 14: Park Hopping
November 15: Driving Home With Family

Hopefully I can do trip reports as I play at Disney but I make no promises. Things are going to be crazy those two weeks!

Packing is almost complete! Just a few last minute items will have to be tossed in tonight. 3 more days until we leave!! SO excited!!!

I am hoping to vlog a little bit while I am there, especially since I will be doing a pin trading challenge of sorts....I'm not addicted I swear!

Now I just have to make it through two more days of training and teaching then I can bid good old Houston farewell and run away to my home away from home.

Trip blogs are starting, it was easier to post it on blogger using my phone for pictures

I am sorry about not keeping everyone updated while on trip and not getting back on the Dis after I returned from the World. Life got pretty crazy and busy! But I am back now and now I can get the trip blogs/posts up. I am also planning my next trip for fall of this year! -happy dance- So maybe their will be posts about that as well.

The first day is in the previous post and covers arrival, MNSSHP, and day 2!! I am going to try posting straight to the boards this time and see if my pictures will show up...

Day 3: Park Day 2!

Epcot is one of my favorite parks (I will say this about every park...) it is even more special during the Food & Wine Festival. This was my friend's second trip to the World and her first ever F&W so needless to say she had no idea what she was in for!

Epcot is definitely my friend's favorite park, mostly because in our April trip it was the first Disney park she ever stepped foot in and was blown away! (People quit expecting WDW to be like Six Flags! ITS NOT!) Since I had gotten her into Pin Trading, I know I know I am one of THOSE people, and we had a crap ton of pins to trade all within one week we were on the hunt for all of the pin boards and CM we could find. One of those happened to be a trash can that travels around Epcot throughout the day and we had made it our mission to find it! We were expecting it to take us all day...but Disney had other plans.

There it was! Right as we walked into the park! So much for our all day hunt, we would end up searching for something pin related anyways. Next up we headed straight to World Showcase, but not before grabbing a map to go find a certain rat. That's right we were trying to find Remy in his game of Hide & Squeak to reap the pin rewards at the end. Yes, you can just redeem a map for a pin you don't ACTUALLY have to find Remy...but where is the fun in that?

As we hunted down Remy and all of his ingredients we ate our way around the world filling up on all the deliciousness! People, do not eat breakfast or lunch if you are at Epcot all day during the F&W just eat a little something at all of the stations! Its amazing!

After satisfying our appetites and finding Remy we redeemed our completed maps and received our pins, then it was off to the Future! Future world was not incredibly crowded as everyone else seemed to move into World Showcase. Our first ride on our way to our Soar'n FastPass was.....

Only have to ride it once to fall in love with Figment!
With our imagination fully sparked we strolled over to Soar'n, then visited the Seas, before heading over to ride Test Track and Mission Space. Mission Space was first and we rode GS first. My friend was curious about the OS so she rode it again. I used to ride the OS a TON but I think I have had my fun on that side and others can have it now.

Before testing out the tracks we meandered over to Habit Heroes. Yes it's a kids game, but we were both curious and had time to kill. It was actually really cute and lots of fun! Too bad it closed before my siblings could try it.
After Test Track we headed back to World Showcase and explored the countries thoroughly before finding a good spot for Illuminations.

After Illuminations, sorry no pictures because I was enjoying the fireworks and too busy crying, we said farewell to Epcot and headed back to ASSports for some much needed sleep!
