Looking at a 7 day Magic cruise in mid Novemebr...
What's the weather like? Want to take 8 yr old disabled DD for her 7th bday.

Mother Nature can be a tricky lady - and you should plan for both warm and dry AND cold and wet weather. But inside the ship, it doesn't matter because it's always comfortable and dry!

Generally, the Caribbean is wonderful that time of year since hurricane season is over but just as soon as I say that......the opposite will happen. But if it does, as it did to us on 9/28/02 - instead of a Western cruise, Disney took us twice to Castaway Cay, St. Thomas and Puerto Rico. We had clear skies and calm seas for the most of voyage. They will always look first for the safety of their passengers.

I cruised in November and can't imagine a more perfect month. The air was always warm, but not uncomfortably hot. The water was nice. Just really a perfect time to travel. Hurricane season runs from June 1 to December 1, so don't let that deter you...it is half of the year. The ships leaves each week and goes to wonderful places......during storm seasons, it just might not be the place you expected to go!:D

We went over Thanksgiving and except for one cool day (CC Day, and it did not spoil the fun at all) the weather was magnificent. I happen to love to go to Florida and/or the Carribean in November and April. It's rotten cold and dreary here, and green & lush there. Perfection.

Mid November is a great time to cruise....great weather

and the weather was COOL and RAINY for a few of the days. I thought it would be a great time to visit but for us it stunk! We were in WDW on the 15th and it was overcast and somewhat coolish to medium warm (which was better than where we came from but I wore capris and was almost too cool) then Saturday the 16th IT POURED rain ALL DAY LONG and when we went to get on the ship on Sunday it was COOOOLLLLDDDD and Windy! Windy enough that we couldnt board the ship for about 20 min while they secured the gangplank AGAIN so we could actually step on the ship. The Wed at Castaway Cay it was RAINY and cool as well and it was yucky to say the least to have it cool and overcast and rainy. The crowds were ok at WDW (pretty good til after the cruise and then it started getting Thanksgiving crowds) but the weather never did get HOT or even warm enough for shorts. If I go again it will NOT be in November...more like Feb or March for us even maybe into April but the cool overcast rainy days were too much for us! Nassau was cold, Freeport was nice but all in all it was not a warm nice trip. Maybe this isnt the norm but it was what we experienced.

Hydster--- I was also on the 11/17 cruise and boy did we get ripped off when it came to the weather. I also wouldn't plan a trip in November again but it's only because of this one trip(our first to beat all). We are planning a April/May for 2004 to try our luck with spring weather???
