Anyone have a motivational clippee??

No replies? :confused: I thought a lot of people were looking for an exercise challenge again. :confused:

Well, I'm in for 1,000. ;) It'll be hard, as I'm just getting back into exercising after a bad October, but so far I've got:

11/1 - 42
11/2 - 46
11/4 - 45

Total 133/1000

I only had 320 in the whole month of October. :(

Even if this doesn't become a 'certified' Challenge thread, it can surely be a personal exercise Challenge thread, where we just keep track ourselves, which we do anyway, and post HERE on our progress. Thanks for starting the thread jlawall! :sunny:
 
I'm in too so you two aren't alone. :) My goal is still the 800 - DM visited for two weeks which = more food + not much exercise so I'm committed to get back!

11/5 25 mins

I seem to be at a screeching halt for some unknown reason this week. I will still keep my challenge at 1200 minutes for the month.
So far I only have accomplished 40/1200.

Tomorrow I run a 5k and will at least have a couple more minutes to add.
 

hi all...im confused, so dont mind my stupid question..what are the numbers? amount of exercise? sorry :0
 
Not a stupid question, Jen. Yes, they are minutes of exercise, for the day, and then our goal total. So, in my case, I've exercised 133 minutes of my 1,000 minute goal for the month of November.

Update for 11/5 & 11/6: Nothing! :o
 
I checked for the Challenge earlier and didn't see it. Thought I needed to just do my own. Am so glad I found it again!!
Only Hit 850 min. in Oct. Shooting for 1000 again in Nov.

As of 11/10, 210/1000.
As of 11/29, 450/1000.
As of 11/30, 505/1000. I pushed myself out there this morning to get over the halfway mark!

Congrats to all who made their goal and to those who tried! I love this 1000 minutes motivator. I'm glad others are still doing it as well. On to a December challenge!

I'm another WISHer that has been keeping track of my numbers for November on my own. I'm so glad I found this thread! It's good to have a "home" to come to everyday and report my progress.

I am at 227/1000 as of today (Sunday, Nov. 7). I was close to making goal last month at 820 minutes and I'm determined to make it for November even though we'll be on vacation at DVCHH the week of Thanksgiving.

WTG for everyone that has posted so far. We can make our exercise goal minutes for the month of November! Woohoo!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
 
I'm still here, too! Well, OK, I've been in South Beach for the past few days, but we're home now! I exercised while we were away & kept track of that, but as to staying on plan with food, well, let's just say I have some off plan eating to make up for! I tried to stay on plan, didn't stray as far as I would have in the past, only up about 1 lb as of this AM, but it's time to get back on track!

My Nov goal will be 2000 min. Here's what I have so far:

11/1 - 90 min - bowling
11/2 - rest day - needed it after my push at the end of Oct to reach that goal!
11/3 - 90 min - swimming & walking
11/4 - 30 min - swimming
11/5 - 90 min - swimming & walking
11/6 - 90 min - swimming & walking
11/7 - 60 min - walking


That gives me a total of 450/2000 min so far for Nov.

I'm glad there are other Nov exercise challengers out there. This really helps to keep me going!

total for month: 150/800
 
Wow these numbers sound huge! I could run for 30 min everyday this month and only get to 900 min! Am I doing something wrong here?
 
pixiedust, not doing anything wrong. Some of us have decided to work it out a little bit more. Do what you can do::yes:: :wave2:
 
I'm keeping track of my minutes also and I'm going with a 2200 minute goal for the month.

Nov 1st - 60 min
Nov 2nd - 110 min
Nov 3rd - 105 min
Nov 4th - 117 min
Nov 5th - 130 min
Nov 6th - 30 min
Nov 7th - 0 :rolleyes:

For a total of 552!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc
 
After a few days off, just toooooo hectic, I did 60 mintues today. Total 193/1000.

I'm in for 1000 minutes. :) I only got 550 last month. :( I wanna make that 1000 minutes. :)


I only did 20 minutes so far this month. It was saturday at my MIL and a quick 20 minute walk to try to change the scenery for dd who was getting cranky.

Sunday 11/21 120 minutes snorkeling
Monday 11/22 60 minute walk
Tuesday 11/23 30 minutes snorkeling
Friday 11/26 120 minutes snorkeling
Monday 11/29 45 minute walk

It's great to see so many on this thread. You are all doing an awesome job!!!!

On Monday I did Firm BSS3 Fat Blasting Cardio in the morning and Firm BSS3 Total Muscle Shaping in the evening

On Tuesday morning I did Firm BSS3 Hips, Thighs and Abs

for a total of 337/1000 on 11/9/04!
 
I have an update for the past 2 days. :moped:

11/8 - 60 min - bicycle
11/9 - 30 min - walk/jog

This puts me at 550/2000 min for Nov :sunny:

This month I cut my goal down some from last month, & I'm going for quality workouts rather than just time. Last month it seemed like I would go like crazy for a day or so, then end up crashing & either not be able to exercise for a few days, or exericise at a slower pace. That didn't seem to work too well for me, so this month my goal is lower & I'm trying to exercise on a more consistent basis & with greater intensity. I couldn't believe that I actually JOGGED some tonight! Not only that, but it felt pretty good!
