November ADR's to be cancelled

I hope we keep this thread up!
We just took the plunge on a last minute trip (for us...under 60 days out) and are finding ADR's hard to come by for Nov. 5-10....

Let's keep 'em coming...

Right now I have Thanksgiving dinner (November 23) at Mama Melrose at 5:30. I would LOVE to have 50's Prime Time Cafe (would be THRILLED!!), Hollywood & Vine, or Sci Fi Diner between 4:30-6:00.

Anyone?

Don't know if this will help anyone, but we are planning on eating at Nine Dragons for Thanksgiving and when I called to see if I could switch from noon to 5pm, worried there might not be space, the reservationist burst out laughing. We seem to have the only reservation.

I think we are the only ones who are not trying to get a turkey meal that day. If you are like us, the restaurants in WS (obviously excluding England) might be a good bet.

We have Fantasmic package ADR for Brown Derby at 4:20 pm on Sat., Nov. 18th for 2 people. We need to change this to a party of 4 but there aren't any available that day for 4 at all. Can anyone help?

I am going to be calling within the next couple of days to confirm my ADR's. As long as everything is in place on their end, then I will be cancelling:

Boma for Tuesday, Nov. 7th @ 5:00 p.m. (8 people) and
Chef Mickey's for Wednesday, Nov. 8th @10:20 a.m. (8 people).

Hi everyone, my brother arrives on that day and is supposed to meet us for dinner at WCC. However, he would really like to take his kids to CM for an early dinner. I called today and the earliest they had was 8:20 pm.

If anyone is going to release a reservation for 4 that night, I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know. I will then cut our reservation at WCC by 4. Thanks!

I posted this earlier, but will do so one more time before cancelling it in the next few days - we have a lunch reservation for 4 people at CRT on Tues 11/7 at 1:10. Anyone interested let me know.

On a side note, some of our family have developed a sudden interest in going to Chef Mickey's, ideally on Monday Nov 6 for dinner. If anyone is planning to cancel, let me know!

Ok, I know that most of us have had our ADR's since April. And Disney knows that many meals are full, so why are they sending out an email 30 days before to remind us to get ressies?

Can you actually get into the most-requested places by now?

Not everyone reads these boards...as hard as that is to fathom. Nor do they read AllEars, Mousesaver or own a Passporter. There really are people who don't leave with any ADR's. I used to be one of those people who made my reservations each day. I'm not sure that's possible anymore.

I suspect that the DDP and the the fact that reservations are tight if not full for many restaurants has led to Disney providing the 30 day reminder.

I feel left out. We just went under 30 days and no email......

Don't feel left out. I didn't get anything either.
I keep calling to try and get an ADR for Ohana's on 11/18 and all they have is 9:20 PM. A little late for us and kids. Oh well.

I wouldn't cancel. We went to our ADR at Alfredo's and they only had us down for 2 people instead of 4! We said it was supposed to be four and they said, oh, no problem. So, I guess if it came down to it you could always just go there and see what they say.
