I could do be in charge of the FEE. I love organizing. It'll give me something else to do to get excited about the cruise! :)

I think a meet or two on a 7 night cruise would be great. On my 4 night Dream, I didn't participate in any. We had one at 3pm on arrival, but my friend and I had only just gotten onboard and I didn't make it.

Sounds great Wendy!!!
We can talk about meets more down the line :)

Did everyone have a great Thanksgiving??? We did alot of shopping and ate alot of food :confused::confused:
My 2 DS' want to start a countdown calendar for this cruise and I am not sure I have enough paper for that :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

This is the longest we have booked a cruise in advance. I hope the time goes by fast :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

I think October 1st would be great :)
It seems so weird to be talking about it already but better to get everything organized now rather then later :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Also I know there are only 4 of us but anyone be interested in talking about meets and get togethers while on board???
We have done smoothie meets, chocolate meets, etc... on two other cruises and they were alot of fun... Just a suggestion

Thanks so much for organizing the FE. :thumbsup2

I LOVE, the idea of any kind of meets, but chocolate or smoothie sound so great!

There also was a meet on the 4 day Dream, but nobody showed up. We waited for 45 minutes. :confused3
There will be a Valentine meet on the Wonder in Feb 2012, but of course, we're not there yet. So I can just imagine what it can be.

Btw, I just booked my Mexican Riviera port excursions and I'm really excited. But everyone says that the Western Caribbean are even better. I just cannot wait! :yay:

The chocolate meet that we had was awsome to say the least :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 There were people from all over and some brought candy from where they were from and there were lots of good stuff :)

I haven't researched any port excursions for the Western Caribbean but we have done some on the Eastern. This last October we did the Screaming Eagle adventure in St Thomas and had a blast!!! This is where you ride in a speed boat and it takes sharp turns and stops. I thought it would be scary but it was a blast. You definately get wet!!!

We are getting closer to our Alaskan cruise(less then 6 months) :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: We have been reserching excursions for this and haven't had much luck. The couple we have checked into are EXPENSIVE!!!

There are few thread describing the Pacific side excursions. There are some on another popular blog. But you're right, many times, people on the Alaskan cruise reported staying on the ship instead, because of whether price, or availability, or just the lack of real choice.

Anyway, good luck with your excursions and tell us how it went when you're back. If we can learn anything from your experiences, we'll take it!

Hi everyone!

If you are interested in participating in the Fish Extender Exchange(FEE), please send me a PM here on the boards with your info.

How many are in your group?
What are the ages of the kids and are there boys and girls?

I plan on breaking my gifts into age related categories: younger children will receive something but Tweens and teens probably wouldn't want the same thing. :D

Hi all! Does anyone mind if I use this space for the official FEE list later on?
I plan on using the post below me too in case we need more than one post.

Go ahead, no problem for me. Just be aware that that I see on other meet thread, is that more and more people are opening a gmail account that only the people on the FE list have access to. This way, there are no "potentially dangerous" lurker, or so they say. Or some other groups work through pm.

But as far as I'm concerned, you can start on page 2 and move it around if anybody ever asks for it.

Good idea! :thumbsup2

I think I am going to do everything old school style with PMs. Then I'm going even older style and writing everything down in a notebook. I'm very limited after lightning struck my computer.:scared1:

I bought material to make our fish extenders! I still need to get a few things, but I do have fabric! :thumbsup2:banana:

You're funny. I thought I was the only over planner. I've been buying stuff for FE for months, now, since DD knows exactly what she wants to make, according to what we received in May.

Well, lets have fun gathering,

:tinker:Poussière de fée!

683 days until our cruise sets sail according to DCL site.

I'm ready to start packing! :D

We've been booked on this cruise since October and just now got to thinking about the meet thread. Glad to see so many already on here.

We are:

Me--Trent (phred84044)
DW--Tracy (disneymom84074)
DD 14*--Karlee
DS 11*--Carson
DD 3*--Grace
*Ages at time of sailing

We had a group of 4 families (close friends and family) with us on the Wonder in October and we all rebooked for this cruise. Since then one more family has been added and hoping for a few more.

Count us in for the FE. Our Wonder cruise was the first time participating and it was a lot of fun!

We have done the Western Carribean on the Magic once before and we are very much looking forward to returning. We preferred it over the Eastern; Grand Cayman 7-mile beach is so wonderful! Also hoping to visit some ruins in Costa Maya this time.

:welcome:to all of you from all of us!
You'll find an already nice thread, here. You can also invite the rest of your group to join this thread. :grouphug:

Since you have some experience, would you accept to answer some (very few hum, hum...) questions as we go along, regarding the Western?
