Here is a question for today. What is the one ride in WDW that you refuse to ride?
V
Ok, I'll do everything in WDW but there is one at DLR I won't do... the Swinging Buckets of Death!!!

If you are not familiar there is a ferris wheel at Paradise Pier in DCA. I hate ferris wheels under the best of circumstances... don't like heights. But this one has these buckets that aren't fixed, they swing in curves like in a giant S shape. Imagine if you were in the bucket at the top of the ferris wheel, then it goes down it's S!

I won't go anywhere near it. I did the fixed buckets on the ferris wheel ONCE and that was enough as it is.
Although I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tower of Terror!!!! It rocks.
Just a thought on the page swap....since everyone may not do the same page size, and worries about the pages getting messed up with packing, what if we just bought the things to make a page and put it in a bag. We could even decorate the bag. That way they could be used on any size page? Thoughts??
I think the bag is a great idea. It would still be easy to do production style.
Ok can I do the question of the day?
What is your favorite Disney Vacation memory? Can be WDW or
DCL.
Alright I've got several so bear with me!
1.
Disneyland 1978- my grandparents had just moved to LA so I flew out to see them all by myself. I had been to WDW a couple times already. My grandparents were so proud to take me to Disneyland! I remember my grandmother taking me on the Matterhorn. She didn't realize it was a roller coaster! I sat between her legs (It's Space Mountain style) and she laughed hysterically the whole time. She was SO scared! I can't ride that without thinking of her.

Till the day she died she loved DL/WDW and I was blessed to have many, many, many trips with her there even into my 30s and with my own kids, at both parks. She passed away 2 years ago and her love of all things Disney lives on with me.
2. Disneyland 1999- I was pregnant with DS and so I took DD (then 2) to Disneyland a lot. Probably every month or so. We'd spend all day riding Dumbo, Small World, playing in Toontown, and visiting Minnie Mouse's house. It was so special, the time just the two of us. I knew it wasn't going to last long, and I really savored that time when it was just me and her. Our birthdays are only 1 day apart and we always play hooky from school on those days and go to Disneyland together. Sometimes with a friend or family, some years just she and I. Two days together, just us girls.
3. WDW 2003- Kyle was a huge Peter Pan freak at that point, aged 3. He loved everything to do with Peter. We had all manner of Peter Pan toys and pirate ships in the house, and rode the ride every single time at Disneyland, no matter how long the wait. But, in all our Disneyland trips we had never seen Peter Pan out and about, just in Fantasmic. Well, we walked out of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, and there was Peter Pan... crouched down, hiding in a bush! He whistled to Kyle to come over. He asked him if he had seen Hook (he had, just 50 yards away), and then invited him to play. They got out little sticks out of the bushes and played sword fighting with each other. There was no one else around. Peter must have spent 5-10 minutes playing with my son, right down on his level. No CMs around, nothing. I stood there with tears in my eyes because this was my son's dream come true.
