What is your favorite animated Disney movie and non animated Disney movie?


I have so many I dont know if my answer is even right. I shouldnt have posted such a tough one

ok animated is Toy Story movies
non animated is , Oh this is so hard. I love several old ones but also the newer ones UGH!!
Ok Pirates of the Caribbean movies and Apple dumpling gang rides again.

Sorry I just cant pick just one.

Hope everyone has a happy friday! I am soooo happy to have an extra day off on monday .

Not too much planned for the weekend as Tim has to work Sat at the station. We are moving at the end of this month so I have so much packing to do that I dont know what to do with myself.

Well I am getting some more magnet paper today to make sure I dont have any white left on the door. Yes I was kidding.

I guess Aladdin with Beauty and the Beast as well as Finding Nemo come to mind as well. And I guess the Sound of Music for feature film although I have also enjoyed each of the POC movies as well.

I love all the movies you guys mentioned and I own most of them. I just love ALL Disney moves, or almost all. I didnt care for Nightmare before Christmas. I think that was the name.

There are so many awesome films.

Wow, this is a hard one Kathy.

Animated: Wall E, Toy Story and most recently the Tinkerbell movie.
Non-animated I have to say High School Musical because I have just had too much exposure to it lately to remember any others... kids are just the right age. I also really liked Enchanted.

So, Kathy wants us to keep the questions going, so here is one for you all...

What is the first Disney movie that you ever owned?

Mine was Cinderella. It was the very first store bought movie we got back in 1985 or so when we got our first VCR for Christmas.

My favorite animated is Cinderella, it was the first Disney movie I ever saw at a drive in. My aunt and uncle took me, I was about 5, and I fell in love with Disney. I also really like The little Mermaid. My grandaughter used to watch it over and over and over...she knew every song by the time she was three, and would not only sing them, but would act them out as well. She used to say she wished she were a mermaid. As for non animated, I think Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Can you tell I really like Dick VanDyke? Although, I really love anything Disney. The first time I went to WDW was our 25th Anniv. it was also the 25th anniv. of WDW and the castle was decorated like a big cake. We got a certificate from Mickey and got to march in the parade. I was so excited. We went again the following year, and the first time I saw the castle I stood there and cried. My DH thought I was nuts. But that's ok, he can think anything he wants, as long as he keeps taking me back.

Favorite character- easy- Daisy Duck!

Favorite animated Disney movie- the Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo

non-animated: the first Pirates of the Caribbean (Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp- doesn't get any better than that!) and ...yes... High School Musical! I love the music and it is too cute.

First Disney movie we owned- the Parent Trap, original Hayley Mills version. We taped it off tv and my brother and I must have watched it nearly daily for a year.

I honestly have no idea the first movie we ever owned that was disney. But my brother and I watched this disney cartoon movie every single day along with the wizard of oz....

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I am planning on cleaning and packing today. Nathan and I are going to visit Tim at the station tonight. I think I am going to surprise the guys with dessert. Those boys can eat.

Looks like I missed a couple of questions,
Favorite character? Mickey Mouse
First Movie owned? I think it was Cinderella, but not 100% sure but it was VHS also. Now we have them all on VHS, and everything that has been released on DVD, and now DH is starting to pick them up on Blue Ray
But then, I still have vinyl albums, 45's, 8 tracks, cassette tapes, and a stereo that plays them all. Well, now that I have revealed my age guess I will get myself moving for the day.
