November 7, 2009 ~~~~ AHOY ST.CROIX ~~~~

Thank you for the link to two palms. I saw the magic go by! WOWOWOW! It was so CLOSE!

Shish Kebab, salad, and 3 bites of baklava for dessert. YUM. Kathy, I'm done for the night, and hopefully will sleep right through until tomorrow!

Well its half time for the Oregon game i am watching and we are ahead 24 to 17 :woohoo:

So sad no kids here again this year:sad2:

My brother has had 2 kids so far of course its early in my time zone.

Well I guess I will say good night and will check back in the morning before we leave.

Night all,

Kathy

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone had a safe and happy halloween. We had a good time and Zoey did so well. I will try and I do mean try to post some pics for you Linda. I have a major headache so going to rest for now. Hope everyone had fun and safe travels to those leaving soon.

GOOD Morning! Day shift, checking in!

I've been awake since 3 am, but in a hotel room it's hard to compute in the middle of the night with someone trying to sleep right next to you. So I just lay there and 'willed' time to pass.

Today we travel through Washington DC, Virginia and part of North Carolina. This is a lot farther than you would think, looking at the map, lol.

Kathy, Safe journey! We'll see you in less than a week!

Happy Sunday, all!

Hi everybody (and Joe!)

We had a great Halloween, DS&DD trick or treated until their little legs were exhausted, Joe tried out his pirate costume to hand out candy and we had a great night despite the chilly weather. (many layers underneath the costumes...)

We also got mostly packed! :thumbsup2 Just a few more things to add, and the good news is that there is still room in the cases, for all of those great souvenirs!

Have a great Sunday everyone.

That middle part of the Atlantic sea board seems to go on forever. You'll be there before you know it!

Good Sunday everyone! Did you know we are going on a cruise - this week even?? It seems we waited and waited and waited and waited - and here we are in the home stretch.

Well, my agenda for today includes getting the items neatly folded into the suitcases and fold the items that are still waiting on the hangers and get them in as well. I will leave one bag for the last minute items and we should be good to go.

It's November, that means we cruise THIS MONTH!
It's Sunday, that means we cruise THIS WEEK!!!

Hope everyone had a nice Halloween. DD thought it was fun that people gave her treats. We went to about 6 houses on the way to my mom's and called it good. I don't think we'll get away with that few next year. She was a very cute Minnie Mouse.

We brought up the suitcases yesterday, so I guess you could say we started packing. So far we have diapers and wipes packed but nothing else. Today I need to work on my scrapbook pages.

Howdy doodle doo everyone;)

Quiet Halloween here just like I thought. No kids around here. So sad.

Well I am counting down my last 5 hours until we leave!!:woohoo:

Our flight isnt until late but i have a couple of stops to make on the way to Portland, then drop off the dogs at the sitter, hopefully see my mom for 30 minutes if she is well enough for a visit, then to my DD's house to pick up some mail we have there:confused3 and then to my MIL's for a few minutes and off for a late dinner and then to the airport.
Orlando here we come!!!!:cheer2:

Did everyone remember to set their clocks back??

Hi Joe,
You really should say hello. You know all the ladies here are going to ask you why you didnt say hello to them:confused:

Shauna, it sounds to me like the most important things you have packed:thumbsup2 You dont want to forget diapers, that would be a huge problem;) I always packed the kids first. If I forget some of my clothes, well I just will have to buy some new ones on the trip:rolleyes1

I doubt I will be posting again before we leave, so everyone have a safe trip when you leave.

REMEMBER THE MEET AT 3 THE FIRST DAY!!

See Ya Real Soon!!!

Kathy

Safe travels Kathy. I do not envy you that red-eye flight. Not my idea of a fun thing to do - gets me all mixed up and then I can't seem to get my "clock" back on the right time. See you Saturday!

Well - two suitcases are partially packed. I have not even started on the third one yet but it will need to be used as the sport coat is still hanging on the doorknob and it should have been toward the bottom. Although, why I try and put the heavy things on the bottom is a mystery to me - baggage handlers seem to turn bags upside down anyway - why do they do that??

Well, enjoy your Sunday everyone!

Hello,

Just got back from the park. Zoey as usual had a blast. She is such a little dog but acts like she can take on anything.

I had a headache last night something fierce.:headache:

Glad the time is winding down to get on that ship. Everyone have a good day will check in later.

Safe travels, Kathy! Looking forward to meeting you! If you can post during the week, please check in! Enjoy the parks! It's still darn hot here so be prepared! :cool1:

Hi Kathy, well, your wait should be almost over by now. If it helps you to be patient, just think of those of us who have to wait longer. Safe travels!

So I just checked Orlando's forecast for later this week. It is low to mid 80s from Thurs-Sat with isolated thunderstorms. Looking at the 10 day, St. Thomas and St. Croix will likely be mid to high 80s and possible showers too. Let's hope the rain is very isolated and doesn't affect any of our plans. 80 degrees sounds dreamy!

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a marvelous Halloween! It was okay here, no kids. I guess they were all out at events, or other neighborhoods. Quiet isn't so bad! :)

It's November!! :woohoo: We're really setting sail THIS week! We're so excited, not only for vacation, but to meet everyone!

Hi Joe, my DH Jon says hello.

Safe travels to everyone travelling this week!

See you all soon!

Now... where did I put all those things I need to pack... :rotfl:

Fear not, Shauna. We most always have a chance of isolated thunderstorms. I don't want to jinx us, but we haven't had rain in a long, long time! At least it's staying warm. On our last Magic cruise (Nov 06) it was only in the 50s when we arrived back to Port, low 40s that night in WDW. We sure weren't prepared for that!

Donna, we were on that cruise. Went to MVMCP and dang near froze to death. Believe me, I have my parka, fleece AND gloves in the car!!!!

Scott, we're not there yet! IT rained off and on, mostly on, all day. We made it to Lumberton, NC. Tomorrow, we'll roll on in to JAX. Cannot WAIT for warmer weather!

Everyone stay well!

Hey guys and gals,

This has been a very productive day. So happy everyone is doing ok and getting ready for the cruise. I didnt have too much luck on finding pirate costumes. Someone (Tim) told me to wait and get them after halloween bc we could get them on sale. Anyway No luck. So I am not going to worry myself with this. And will make do with what we have. I want to be comfortable anyway.

Linda and Kathy hope you guys are doing well. This is going to be a busy week for the rest of us still at home. Kinda hard to go to work when my mind is somewhere else.:confused3

Well have a good night. By the way Hi Joe!!!! Stop by and say hello.

We did the same thing this morning... went to Party City & Target at opening but no luck. Don't be too worried, besides, it's usually so darn hot up on deck that simple is better. My girls are usually in a pirate themed t-shirt and a black skirt or capris, and we don't do much more ourselves.
