For various reasons, all of which were related to Hurricane Irene that hit the East Coast last month, we have found ourselves taking a pretty unexpected trip to SoCal in the beginning of November.
We will be arriving in SoCal Sat 11/5, spending the Weekend in San Diego, and driving up to Anaheim either Monday or Tuesday for the rest of the week, flying back Saturday afternoon.
Small World will be closed that week for the holiday install, but since it is my little one's FAVORITE attraction, I'm wondering what are the chances that it will be open maybe Friday night or Saturday? The rehab schedule here says closed to 11/11. Does that usually mean open the morning of the 11th? Open Saturday? And is the whole plaza back there closed off, or just the attraction itself? I guess we won't be seeing the "Magic Memories etc" show either? I know...lots of questions and speculation. Sorry...
Also, I know we're still only in September so the schedule isn't out yet, but historically what have the parade/firework schedules been like during that time of year? This trip was kind of an unexpected happy compromise (after having not 1 but 2 trips ruined by the hurricane
) but I would hate to travel from the East Coast and not be able to see Tink fly at all...
Ugh - I am sooooo not good at this unplanned unexpected stuff!
