From DVC - I rented points to secure Nov. 2-5...hoping I can use some of my BLT points to get Nov. 5-6 (or 7). If not, we will move to BLT.

Just to clarify: You rented a reservation from a BLT owner for 11/2-11/5 and now you're hoping to change that reservation at 7 months to BCV 11/5-11/6 (or 11/7)?

If that's the case, I think that the bigger question would be whether the owner would be willing to attempt to change the reservation. Changing a DVC reservation is not like rebooking a Disney Resort reservation. The owner would most likely need to cancel your existing reservation in an attempt to book your new reservation. If availability for the BCV villa disappears during that attempt, you could end up with no reservation at all!

No...I had BCV points transferred to my account. I already own BLT and I have secured the BCV reservation from 11/2-11/5. I will likely book BLT from 11/5-11/7 and try to switch to BCV at 7-months...just curious how likely is that scenario.

I'm pretty certain you'll have to try and waitlist - I think it's very unlikely to be open at 7 months.

As to the dates being available at 7 months out for a 2BR at BCV (or BLT), the answer based on reservations for that time of year for the last three years is highly unlikely with wait list the only chance. Also, if you have not yet reserved BLT for those nights, it would be wise to do it now.
