November 5, 2014 Wonder cruise from Miami.

We just booked this cruise to join all of you!!! There are 4 of us including 2 kids (DS10, DD10). This will be our 7th DCL cruise.

What a couple of weeks… I got laid off from 19 years on the job (entire group of ~30 at our location were let go ). We had a cruise & WDW trip booked for January but decided to cancel given the circumstances. We also had a Halloween WDW trip booked that we decided that we’d still go on. Amazingly, I found a new job within 2 weeks. Since we were going to WDW anyways, we are going to stay longer and add on the cruise. I had to shift return flights and such but I’m sure it will be worth it!!!

Now trying to figure out what to do on the cruise. Key West doesn’t seem all that exciting for the kids, I’m happy walking around town and stopping in bars but not with them. I found Sebago, Fury and Sunset watersports that have packages with tons of stuff for them. Probably a better family activity.

Normally I have my vacations planned out months in advance, this time we are going to wing it. So looking forward to getting away!

Thank you all for the wonderful FE gifts we received. We certainly had some creative people in our group. So great to see what everyone came up with! Hopefully, we'll sail with some of you again soon!
