Attention fellow cruisers: We are now officially below the 500 day mark! Today we're at a 499 countdown!

I was thinking the other day, we are almost down to one year. I'm still torn what to do before the cruise. I really want to fly in on Thursday, due to weather concerns, but I hate the idea of leaving my son home by himself for Thanksgiving!!!

LAURA AND I WENT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN ON THE DUCK. I TOOK MY CAMERA ON THE DUCK AND TOOK PHOTOS. IT WAS FUNNY A GUY WHO WAS ABOUT 250 lbs at least went by himself just ahead of Laura and I. As I watched him make the turn to go down first dip he flipped over and got stuck. They had to turn the water off and get him out by the first ladder. It takes about 20 min for them to get the water going again

I wasn't going to tell people we were cruising yet, but the excitement got the better of me and I have been telling my family and inviting my friends.

I haven't really told anyone yet that we are cruising. My parents know because I wanted them to be prepared for the slight possibility that we may not be home for Thanksgiving next year. I told my one sister, too, because she cruises frequently but other than that no one knows.

ETA - My kids don't even know yet.

Good Afternoon All:

I wanted to pop over and say HI. I just finished going through the thread.

We will be sailing on this cruise. It will be me, Tonya and DH Trey (Trey96b). We will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary and my DH's birthday on 11/30. Room 7686. We booked it in 2011, but I have been neglectful in getting on disboards to say hello. We have one son, Hunter, who will be a Senior when we go, so he will not be able to come along. Never fear ,plans are to take him to Hawaii for his graduation present and he gets to stay with Gma & Gpa while we are gone, so he will be spoiled rotten when we get back.

This will be our 8th cruise on Disney. We are looking forward to getting to know all of you and seeing you on board.

We won't be participating in the FE, as I pack the least amount possible when its just the two of us.

Yes there is......SUMMER CLOTHES SHOULD BE GOING ON SALE SOON...time to stock up on your cruise attire!! Actually this year, I'm going to look at Christmas formal wear after it goes on sale after Christmas for our dress up night next year.

Oh, last year, NORDSTOMS had 50% off everything in the ENTIRE STORE on January 1st. The store opened at 6:00 am!!!
