great! Evelyn will love meeting your daughter. We had a great group of girls on our last cruise--they emailed for a couple months beforehand and were fast friends on the ship

I get a kick out of those being more than the REAL LIFE portholes

I am all about cheaper but didn't want to be all the way forward so the expensive post modern reality is for us!

Hey there... we were on the cruise with Jenn(although also b2b'd on the 3 night that followed). I originally booked a 4 night in Nov 2012 but my 9 year old dd cried the last night and all morning getting off the ship, so I knew that a 4 day would not work. Right now it will be myself, dd Matti(who will be 13 YIKES!!) by cruise time. Mackenzey will be 10 by cruise time. Possibly may have sisterinlaw with us, would love daddy to join us, but he has major vertigo issues.... so not looking good. I also have booked the April 5, 2012 5 night Dream, but really doubt we will go on that one as we are going to WDW in November 2011 too. The vacation fairy is good to me, but not that good Not even going to join that meet thread as I have more confidence that we will be on this one! Looking forward to meeting all of you and a new obsession.

1. Do you think the restaurants will also be "sisters" to the ones on the Dream?
2. Do you think the activities (formal night, etc) will follow the previous 7nt activities on the other ships?
3. What about the ports--when do you think we'll know about the excursions that DCL is offering?

It looks like there will be a unique restaurant to replace the Royal Palace. The other Dream restaurants are listed in the Fantasy description on the DCL site.

And we are set. Is it okay to be excited about something so far away?

This will be the 4th cruise for us. My name is Phil and my wife (Kristen) and 2 daughters (13 and 10 in Nov. 2012) will be along with me.

We are on deck 8, 8616 to be exact, and my sister and her family (husband and 2 sons) will be along for the cruise as well. I'm sure she will post on this board also.

Should be a great time, I'll try to check in from time to time - even if it is mostly Steelers fans (ICK!!)

I just put down my deposit yesterday, am very excited to be taking my first Disney Cruise! It will be Jersey week for us and am looking forward to missing the Election chaos.

We are in room 8684 and it will be Myself, DH, and two boys 11 and 7 at the time of sailing!

We're down to 524 days!!!!! Yippee!!!! And all the great new details about the Fantasy have just gotten me even more excited.
