I thought they didn't finalize docs until 29 days out (giving people 30 days out to change plans/last minute cruisers?), and so they can do all those UPGRADES so by the time they are done, processed, and sent it's usually 2 weeks away, right? This is only our 2nd cruise and I thought our last one was about 2 weeks, b/c that's when we surprised DDs with it...

Don't know why, I just know that other cruiselines send docs much earlier!!

Royal Caribbean sends their documents out almost precisely 22 days in advance, so I would expect DCL to be in the same time frame.

No documents yet, I think last year we got them around 3 weeks before the cruise.

Has anybody received their cruise docs yet? Me neither, just wondering.

I saw your post and was all excited after the first few words...... It's hard to believe we're this close (finally)!!

One month from today and for some reason, I'm now starting to panic. I am not nearly as prepared as I should be by this point! Sheesh. I don't even have a formal dress yet. Better get going this weekend huh!

I don't have mine yet either. I am looking for just the right one. Saw one last year on sale at Macy's & I should have gotten it. Probably during next week I'll look. Hope I find a good sale.

I need to finish my pirate costume. For some reason the cruise that seemed sooooooo far away is suddenly upon us and I still have a lot to get done.

I am now kinda freaking out myself. Turns out that im pregnant! So alll the stuff I picked up for the cruise, on sale this summer...is going to basically be useless. i am now 7 weeks and when we sail ill be 11/12 weeks. im already showing a baby bump! theres no way my clothes will fit in 4 more weeks! i did get a few clearence maternity shrorts and some summer maternity stuff from another mom at the bus stop. i have to get to motherhood in the mall to get myself a few bathing suits since they are on sale for a VERY good price and will probably pick up a few things on sale while im there as well. im a lil concerned because, although i "should" be done with morning sickness by then, anyone whos had kids knows that that kinda thing is never predictable, and turns out they moved our stateroom from the middle of the boat(brother reserved that way for me at the begining) to basically 2 rooms away from the very very end! i plan on calling them and asking y the room was changed and if it will make that big of a dif because its a tough decision since now, even though we are at the very front of the boat, we are right by the elevators...ugh...
oh and of course to make my life harder, DH agreed that we would go with his family down to cape may the weekend before we leave(2 hr drive from us). normally i would be all for it cause its a campground his aunt has a time share in and we have gone before and DD LOVED it , as did I , but thinking bout now having to pack for that, and the trip, all with hallooween right in between there...AH! its nuts.
another question..since there are alot of things i wanted to do that i now cannot do, how do u find out about all the activities on board?

Jen and I were talking last night about how close it seems all of the sudden! in a way, but when we look at all we need to do to get ready for the cruise, and to get ready for fall and then Christmas decorations around the house!

Hey, does anyone know their dining rotation yet? I looked at my reservation on line and don't really see anything, but the designation of Main Dining time. Is this something you learn on board?

I've seen where some people know what their rotation is before their cruise due to a special request or the travel agent request. Generally your rotation and table number will be on the Key To the World card (room key, charge card) they give you upon check in.
