Are you silver? I would think you could book everything at 90 days if you are and that would be Friday. First time cruisers have to wait until Sept. 11th(I think).

Yes the remainder goes on whatever card you have on file. I think it is 5% off buying cards at Target with a Red card and Sam's has $150 for $142.98 in stores. Some Sam's carry the $500 for $475 or you can get them online.

I got my days wrong! Friday night I can book our excursions...my parents are first time cruisers so I hope they will be able to book too so we can be together!

You will be able to book at 12 am eastern on Saturday but your parents will have to wait until Sept. 11th as they are first timers. I wasn't sure if that was right so I went and looked it up as I hate to give out bad info!

Yippee, logged in last night and got everything we wanted at times that worked great for us. I'm sure SIL and DH will be "thrilled" to go to the Disney Junior Character Breakfast but they have no choice. DD and I want them there to see the little girls reactions. I bet they have Mickey Waffles.

My favorite part of the breakfast is when Mickey comes to your table for pictures. Any time you can get a picture with the mouse and not have to stand in line is a good day!

13 Mondays until we set sail (or 87 days)!! Those of you with super young kiddos---are you planning on taking any toys? I was thinking maybe like 3 toys and a few books, as a just in case. Luckily our daughter is usually easily entertained...

Well, it's getting closer but it still seems so far away! As to bringing toys I don't think I wouldn't do more than what you have listed. Even with her being so young I wonder how much time you would be spending in your room where she would even want a toy/book, unless it's nap time. Plus, you are in the FE so you never know what people will deliver to your room. You may end up with lots of toys and such

I think we are only missing one cabin number in group 1 and they probably won't get it until end of September or October. If you would like names to personalize items let me know and I will put the request out to everyone. The groups are closed and I will not be making any changes unless someone drops and then obviously they will be removed.

Since we will be driving to Galveston, DD will have toys in the car to entertain the 21 month old and several of those will come with us to the ship. The 5 yo will have her tablet and we'll get coloring pages from the kids club for her. I'm sure three or four books will get in the luggage also.

Just came from the pediatrician..no dairy allowed for our tiny human. Looks like I'll be filling out the allergy form for DCL. Does anyone have any experience cruising with a milk allergy?

I don't have personal experience but our 21 month old DGD is lactose intolerant and DD has already checked on the availability of Lactaid. DD provided specific instructions on her nursery reservation that they ONLY feed her liquids that mom provides since she only drinks a little water and half honey thinkened Lactaid. DD will be getting the Lactaid and then adding the thickener and taking that to the nursery.

I found this on the Guest Services section on the DCL website under Special Dietary Requests
"Disney Cruise Line offers gluten-free, vegetarian, no sugar added, dairy-free and lighter offerings on all of our table-service restaurant menus."
Also the line "Once aboard the ship, food allergies should be brought to the attention of your Head Server."

I bet you won't have any problems. She's little. She'll just eat what you offer to her. She'll do fine.
