Sounds like a plan to me. It will go by so quickly (I hope). What is the Rainforest? I did see it somewhere and I was curious on what it was. Booked all my items as well. Not a lot of excursions, just want to relax. Have to get working on the FE items. Have an idea but that sometimes doesn't go as planned. Talk with you soon again.

Erin and Katie have been emailing quite regularly lately. Erin is excited that we will be neighbors (on the cruise). She is excited to meet her. Will Katie be going to Edge (I know she is a little young, but I think you have an older child) or the Lab? I am hoping the Edge as that is where Erin will be. It looks like there are a few other kids around the same age, maybe we can get them into emailing.

1) (current cruise) Find that one romantic spot on the ship for my wife and I to be able to sit, take in the view, and not be overwhelmed by 3,998 of our closest friends.
2) (future cruise) Cruise to Alaska then take the train back across the Canadian Rockies
3) (future cruise) Take a sail boat cruise in the Carribean for a week or so
4) (current cruise) Find a way to relax so that I won't need a vacation from the vacation.
5) (any cruise) Win the lottery so I can do a B2B (yes, we know.....)

I don't think we have anyone in CL playing the FE game yet. . . but. . . I believe other cruisers have left their deliveries with the CL host . . .

Hi Kim,
Hope you are well. Katie is also very excited that we are going to be neighbors. We will never see the girls! I am going to try to get Kate into the Edge. As long there is my son and Erin, I think she will be fine. I have to see how that works. That would be great if they could email other kids. The more kids they know the better.
What excursions did you sign up for? We are doing the Dolphin/Turtle Farm in Grand Cayman, Katie is going with my parents to a submarine one in Cozumel and then just hanging out at the beach snorkeling at Castaway Cay.
Other than that it is just having fun around the ship.
Are you doing the FE? It will be fun. We did it on our cruise last year on the Dream and loved it. Still deciding what I am doing.

As an update, we're in #6164. I'm going to try to find out this weekend if my parents, siblings and significant others are interested in participating.

I do have a few questions though about FE ettiquette. Is it one gift for the trip? A gift per day? A gift per person or is it per stateroom? I'm just trying to figure out if I have enough time and energy for the planning and preparation! I don't want to say that we'll participate and then find out I've bit off more than I can chew. I might be a newbie, but I don't want people to know that from my actions!

We are driving down on Wednesday, staying offsite and crusing around Downtown Disney that evening. Then going onsite to AOA for Thurs and Fri night and hitting Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom. Reservation at 50's Prime Time Cafe for Thanksgiving Day and Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast on Friday...Anyone else doing similar?

My DD, 6, has no clue and me and my mom(all girls trip) can't decide when/how to surprise her?! It seems cruel to do all the FE stuff/make plans without her!

Any thoughts/ideas on how/when we can tell her the news??

We had reservations at 50's prime time cafe, but they are not serving Thanksgiving Dinner type food, so we made reservations at Hollywood & vine instead.

BTW, I coach at Triangle Aquatic Center in the evening which is by Cary Town Center.

As far as telling her, maybe during Halloween. Give her something that tells her about it instead of candy.

We are planning on giving a gift for the parents and a gift for the kids. Definitely not one per day.
