Yay!!!

My oldest Stepdaughter is pregnant and is having a party to tell everyone the gender on Saturday at 3:00pm. So either we will be opening an envelope and finding out or finding out over the phone. We will be twice as happy at the meet!

I have several clients travelling or need to book dining while I am gone so I need to make sure that they are all in great shape. I will get to it ASAP!

Currently working on door decorations and have been for the whole weekend. I hope someone other than me stops to appreciate them! At least I am having fun coming up with quotes with which to cover the door. My 11x17 cardstock should be delivered by the end of the week. Can't believe we leave in less than two weeks! I'll be cutting out shapes and attaching magnets all the way from Dallas to Galveston!

I have always brought a portable clothing steamer on board my cruises and have never had an issue. I just recently came across a post stating those are not allowed even if they don't have a metal plate. Then I heard that there are steamers in some of the laundry rooms. Does anyone know if there are steamers available to use on the Magic? I'm actually a little surprised that they aren't allowed. My metal curling iron is much more likely to do damage than the steamer. Working on preparing my packing list.

Anyone else feeling a bit stressed about getting ready for the cruise AND Thanksgiving at the same time? I am beginning to think that those posters on the "over planning anonymous" thread have it figured out. I thought packing a month (or more) before was nuts, now I wish I had...sigh.

We decided to have our Thanksgiving on Wednesday night at a restaurant .. Not sure which one.. Sigh ..

we are driving to Galveston this was pretty much a "no brainer" my DH words since he cooks

I have been packed for a few weeks..

My daughters on the other hand ... Not ! .. Sigh

I'm 95% packed...but then I'd probably fit right in with the overplanners group.

Thanksgiving will be exhausting since we will be at Walmart that night getting good deals. Thankfully its not at my house, so that helps. But I figure I won't get much sleep Thursday night, spend Friday packing the car and last min things. Then go to bed super early Friday night (hopefully I will be tired enough to sleep, if not, melatonin) then up at 4:00 to drive.

I am stressed too!! I am so thankful I am not hosting Thanksgiving this year!! We usually do! This may be my new excuse for years to come....I may have to book for this time of year again!
It's a happy kind of stress, but I am sure to be over packed because I keep adding to the pack pile!! OMG

DD Kim (cruising with us) and her DH are hosting Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday. Us ladies are going swimsuit shopping in the morning, followed by manicures/pedicures.

We usually go to Morgantown, WV on Thanksgiving to visit two of our grandchildren and their parents, but this darn cruise ruined those plans! We'll be in Morgantown a month from now.

Did those last minute things this week - hold mail, cancel newspaper and notify credit card company of our traveling so we don't have any problems when I decide to buy a trinket or two.

My family will be sailing on a Disney cruise for the first time (and the first ever cruise for my daughters). There are 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 14, 11, 9, 5, & 1).
Our travel agent sent a fish extender for the FE but it looks like from reading the previous post that we missed out on that opportunity. I didn't realize there was a deadline. I have some things for the FE so I will be happily filling any fish extenders that I see.

This last week of waiting seems to be the hardest part even with thanksgiving coming first.

We can't wait!
