I want to go on our cruise NOW! lol! I'm feeding my Disney addiction with disboards and working on FE gifts.

I hear ya. As close as it is it still seems to far away. Of course if it were too much closer I wouldn't be ready.

Which parking lot is closest (to walk)? I know Park n Cruise is closest but since they aren't taking Disney cruisers:sad2:, which one is second closest?

We picked BOI valet. It's supposedly in walking distance as well. Not sure if it's second closest though.

Cruise docs arrived!!!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2

Yay!!! Got mine too. So glad my daughter didn't check the mail! Now if only they would assign my stateroom!

Okay, thanks! I'm thinking dh will drop us and the luggage off and then go park. He just wants a place thats close enough to walk in case there aren't shuttles ready to go.

I should be working today, but since my cruise docs arrived yesterday, I'm back to planning the cruise. The current issue is dinner and show timing. Does anyone know if it would be possible to catch the 6:15 show and then make a 7:00pm reservation at Palo? I've heard the shows can be 30 to 45 minutes. How long is the show, and if it is 45 minutes, are there any "grace minutes" for a Palo reservation?

Thanks!

I think we are parking at EZ Cruise Parking. They have a shuttle that takes you from their lot right to the pier. Works for me.

I'm looking at ezcruise which is $48.71 and Discount Parking which is $40. They both seem to have good reviews and even with tipping the shuttle driver, there is a savings over the $65 at the port or BOI.

I can't really help with the Palo timing. The Navigator shows an hour for the show, but they may be shorter.

If you go to the 6:15 show and stay for the whole show, you will be out of the WDW theater at approx. 7:15. The CD comes out at 6:15 to get the crowd going, talk about evening events and next day events, then the show begins. Not sure about any "grace minutes" in Palo - we're never late! Can you get an earlier Palo reservation time and go to the 8:30 show? There have been times at Palo for dinner, we will tell our server that we need to be done with dinner within a certain time frame so that we can go to the 8:30 show and it works.

Still no cruise docs for me! And I am driving myself nuts looking at all the stuff here on DISboards and rethinking what excursions I want to do, and how I want to do my FE, and what I want to bring and gift to y'all. I need to just stop thinking about it! In a good way, of course!

The only times I seem to be able to get are 7:00pm on all the days. I wonder if I could modify the time plus or a minus a half hour on the cruise itself. Seems odd that 7:00 would be the only available time.

Yes, you can modify your reservation on board. DCL does not release all its available time slots online. The day we board, the usual place to make dining room and Palo changes/reservations is in Rockin Bar D (3forward) usually starting at 1 or 1:30 pm. I plan to be there at that time as we have reservations for Palo for brunch and dinner, however, the DCL website would only allow me to book for 5 adults and we have 8 adults in our party. If for some reason, there is no available day/time slot you want for Palo, you can be put on a wait list.

Use the coupon code EZGIFT7 to save $5 off your EZ Cruise price

I just checked what I paid and see you already used a coupon code.

Maybe somebody else can take advantage of the code.

Don't forget to sign up for the FE exchange if you want to. I believe we have until the end of the month.

JUST jumped on this cruise!! Can my family participate in the FE exchange?? I know we are a couple of days after the 30 day cut off. I understand if I am too late!

It's myself, Anne, my DH Kelvin and our son John (9). We are in room 7016.

SO EXCITED!!!! Kind of glad we decided at the last moment...because I don't know how I could conceal my giddy self for much longer!!

Hello Anne,

I think the cut off date for the fe is oct 31 so you should be good. Also we have a Facebook page so you can also join us there.

It's so nice to meet other giddy people! My dh just doesn't get it.

I don't see why not, but kmcford is the organizer for the FE. Private message them your names, ages, fave Disney character, and cabin number.

I must say: hooray for giddy people! I have so stinking excited about all this that I'm making the rest of my family annoyed! (-:
