Something new appeared on the character dining website of storytellers… looks like we can book holiday dining starting October 10th…

And it will be: Mickey‘s Holiday Pajama Party breakfast and brunch…First day is nov 19th …
(which isn’t a big surprise because the dates before that are bookable already…)

Hi everyone! I’ll be there Monday 11/11-Friday 11/15. Staying at Pixar Place, and very first time staying in property.
For those going before Christmas time officially kicks off, how do you feel about it? I’m trying not to be bummed. It’s my friend and I on this trip, and we didn’t realize the holidays officially kick off on the 15th when we booked it, but the cost jumped up like crazy when we priced out the following week. I’m trying to be excited but I’m super bummed to miss everything that kicks off on our departure day

A lot of the holiday decorations will be up by then so you will get a good taste of it. =)

Do you have hoppers? Reason I ask is I noticed Disneyland closes at 7pm on 11/13.

I think a lot of the stuff will be decorated at that point. I think you will still have a blast!

Does anyone know if the railroad is supposed to open in nov? I thought I heard 11/15, but it’s still on the refurb list for that day. I’m hoping it’s open when we go. We love to take a grand circle tour.

I guess Disney hasn’t dropped the holiday character dining reservations at 6 am… I guess I can stop to refresh constantly and just check back regularly…

Bright side: it’s 3pm here where I am and not not the middle of the night…

Anyone know why tickets for DCA are no longer available for 11/5? Seems to be the only date on the entire released calendar that DCA is unavailable. Is there something going on that day that I'm unaware of?

I just looked and it’s showing that both parks are available that day.

Strange, you wouldnt think the day we are holding the presidential election would be a day that would bring a huge crowd to aDCA.

Thank you everyone for the WOC input. We decided to go ahead with the Dessert party. Looking forward to it.

I do have another question that hopefully someone can help with. We have rented a car since we will have 2 days for other sight seeing. Is there a decent grocery store with easy access on the way from John Wayne? Thanks is advance.
