Could you change it to AFTER the Harmony barbershop??? and do something else on Sat like a Water park or DTD??? OR another park?

I tried for the 29th and the 3rd but she said NOTHING was available unless I wanted to go to DTD location. We don't have park hoppers or water park option. EasyWDW said 8-11am should be OK and then later in the evening. I think we will plan on hitting the park early, staying through BBB appt then head to DTD. Or maybe I will just cancel the appt and let the kids hit the pool in the afternoon. IDK, but I found pics of parade taping day and it does NOT look like a magical experience! I can't even fathom fighting the bulk of that mess with 3 kids. Now I'm stressed. I haven't once been stressed during the planning, but I guess that makes me part of the club.

Keep trying those dates. You never know when something will open. I didn't think I would ever get a dinner reservation for Ohanas. I kept trying and I finally got one.

And as far as being stressed goes.............just hang with us. We thrive on stress.

I would just do that... hit the park early, do BBB then head out!!! I would NOT do the pool-that would ruin the BBB 'do! Unless, you go early, leave by like 10ish and do the BBB in the World of Disney at DTD! That may be better! Then you could shop, eat lunch somewhere and have a wonderful day! You could always go back later since you dont need a PH to get back into the same park. That is just my 2 cents though

Oh on a side note, I got an 8:05am adr for CRYSTAL PALACE! Yes I know its a EMH morning but I dont really do EMH. We should be done by 9 and thats plety of time to enjoy the park! I know its not the 'ideal' thing to be going to breakfast during EMH but on our side, in 2010 AK opened at 8 and we got there at 845 we just arent that early in the parks unless we are eating ppl. The other option is 8:15,9:20 but then we have CRT at 2:05 so 9:20 gets into that awkward time and the 8:15 gives my family time to say hey-why are we waiting to eat instead of riding rides LOL

My family will be arriving.....November 22 and leaving the 27th we will be at CBR...cant wait to spend the Holiday in Disney!

we are almost to the 100 mark!!! 109 days to go!!!! So excited

I thought I would share this with my Disney loving friends on here. Only ya'll would understand. I was talking about Disney and my DH says "kids go get Mama some tylenol, I think she has Disney fever" Then my DD says " Mama are you going to plan out what we say to each other at Disney too?" So far my DD has been the only person who I thought was listening to me. I guess I even burnt her out on it. They are excited about the trip but could care less about all my planning.

Has anyone been to the Yaht Club? Is is within walking distance to the Board Walk and Fantasia Mini Golf? Or, should we take a bus to the other one (the name escapes me)?

The Yacht Club is in walking distance to the Boardwalk and Fantasia Mini Golf. Everything in the Epcot resort area is in walking distance of everything.

i think next time we would do a disney cruise.

Just booked our plane tickets!! AND as a result, I felt comfortable finally buying our MVMCP tickets too. Wow. All the months of planning and it's the Real Deal now. No turning back. lol.

While this is our 2nd WDW trip, it's the first one on property with FD, with extensive planning, etc... (our first one was kind of short notice and I didn't have a lot of time to plan.) I felt like for months I was juggling a lot of balls in the air, waiting for announcements, reservations etc... But, it's been really fun!

I'm glad you get to do a lot of planning for your 2nd trip. That will help a lot! I'm glad people have been able to help you! Even though you had to give up staying at POFQ, you will still have a great time

With the first option, it may cost a little more but you will also be getting more dining credits as your dining plan goes by number of nights. So if you need those meals anyway, the extra cost might not be so bad and you get lower crowds...

Thanks for the input! We decided on option 1- 11/1- 11/6. We will be at All Star Music with Free QS dining plan. Woo hoo- I'm excited!!

Sooo we added another night.. that makes 3 added nights from our original plans! We were checking into AOA LM on the 23rd so we could get free dining.. now we are checking into a off-site hotel on the 20th! It will be late so no park & prob straight to bed, but that means a full day on the 21st & 22nd! Then hop over to AOA on Friday! SO EXCITED!! Ok got that out of my system... Of course that means paying oop for meals those 2 days, but no biggie. Our dates are now Nov 20th - 28th! Now all we have left to buy are our MVMCP tickets for the 27th.. oh yeah & save some spending money!!

Hi everyone. I just found this thread and would love to join. Our family consists of me my husband, daughter and son. We will be at POFQ Saturday Nov. 24-30. I can't wait. I was actually waiting for free dining and want the kids to see WDW decorated for the holidays. I booked all our ADR before we even booked the trip and added the confirmation numbers to the vacation package.

Here is our agenda

Nov 24 - Saturday Arrive around 10 am, take ME to POFQ and go to EPCOT. ADR - Garden Grille at 6:30 pm.

Nov 25 - Sunday Magic Kingdom at rope drop. ADR - 1900 Park Fare at 6:10 pm.

Nov 26 - Monday Hollywood Studios. ADR - Fantasmic! package at H&V 3:35 pm.

Nov 27 - Tuesday Animal Kingdom. ADR - Tusker House at 11:15 am. Maybe DTD in the evening.

Nov 28 - Wednesday - Magic Kingdom. ADR - Chrystal Palace, this is for me because I LOVE Pooh at 6:10 pm.

Nov 29 - Thursday - Haven't decided what park. Any ideas? I am thinking HS again. ADR - Captains Grille 5:25 pm

Nov 30 - Friday - Eat a late breakfast either in DTD or POR. Go home.

Do you know what time it starts to get dark in November? I am from Buffalo and it's usually 4:30 pm but we have a lot of cloud cover.

I have never thought that AK was a half day park. There is plenty there to do. What gets to me about AK is I guess the lay out. When it gets crowded you feel more .....

I don't care what time it is or what the weather is AK is always so hot. Not sure why but it is.

I agree with both of you. Always seems crowded and hot! We skipped it last couple trips, but with extending our trip for free dining, we're doing a day there and I'm looking forward to it, esp. Yak and Yeti!!

Well I did it.We will have lunch at Tusker House. Stay in AK unil about 4:00. Then leave and head to Epcot where we will have supper at the Garden Grill. Then we have all evening to hang out in Epcot. Its open until 12:30am Saturday morning.
Ya'll are so great for bouncing ideas off of and helping me see things from different directions.

Welcome! Looks great. You'll have so much fun! What suburb are you from? We're near Atlanta now, but I grew up in Cheektowaga (went to Depew HS) and DH grew up in Depew (Maryvale HS)! LOL and we DON'T miss the cloud cover.....

That is so adorable!!! I would tell her that you've only thought of subject topics for conversation that the actual conversation will be up to them. I still have my DD3.5 on board, at least once a day she says, "Mommy, let's talk Disney."
