VB is awesome. I have alot of different items (duffel, tablet sleeve, tech case, squared away purse) but my alltime fav for traveling is the hanging organizer It is wonderful for bathroom items and has a hanger type loop at the top that you can hang from a closet type rod to free up counter space.

That sounds like a great item to have.

I just decided to do HDDR!!!! Im excited!

Fantastic! We did HDDR in 09. It was a blast! So much fun! Really slapstick. At some points, you may be !

The only downside - the bus journey there and back. Of course, it was also raining and that made the journey even more of a misery. We left AK early that day and hopped on the bus to Fort Wilderness. Then had to switch buses to get to the HDDR site. Did I mention it was raining? Yeah, and it was also cold.

But once we were seated, it was fine. Lots of food and drink. The server was so kind. My DD requested for hot chocolate, which was not available at HDDR. He went over to the other kitchen (not sure where though) and got a mug of hot chocolate for her. We thought it was swell of him.

Anyhoos, the entertainment was worth everything we went through to get there. I'm surprised our sides didn't burst from all the laughing we did.

I booked my flights yesterday. Rooms, tickets, FD are booked. Magical Express is booked, though I need to call to add my flight info. Now if I could just make a decision about whether or not to book a character meal. Of course, I'd have to make a decision on which parks on which days, wouldn't I? LOL

I know I have a Disney problem. I was reading the forum titles, and instead of seeing "Theme Park Attractions and Strategies", I read "Theme Park Addictions and Strategies".

I will definitely be looking into getting a VB hipster for this trip...the mini one I have is just not big enough...not that I will carry everything but one big enough for my camera- wristlet wallet, hair brush and a few small items. I wonder when the fall patterns will come out?? I need to go on the website and look again. I am so excited for this trip.

Do any of the characters have different outfits at Christmas time? I don't plan on going to MVMCP...I'm talking about during regular park hours?

We were there November of 2010. Outside of MVMCP, the only character I recall seeing in a Christmas outfit was Goofy wearing the Santa outfit during the Jingle Jungle parade at AK. The theming was so great on the parade it never even occurred to me until just now that none of the other characters were in holiday costume. It was hands down my favorite parade! As the OP mentioned, maybe closer to December 25th there are more characters in holiday gear out and about.

I was there the week after Thanksgiving and all the characters in the Camp Mickey trails of AK were in Holiday outfits. I know Mickey had a sweater and Goofy was Santa. Don't remember about Donald or Minnie.

As far as character greetings during regular park hours, the only place I have seen Christmas outfits (Nov./Dec.) is in AK at the Camp Minnie-Mic trail character greeting by the lion king show.

Hi Everyone!

Just tagging on to the thread, we've just booked our 2012 Fall trip for a long stay at the Grand Floridian Club Level from November 1st to 15th. We got a Free Dining PIN which I've upgrade to Deluxe Dining Plan!

Can't wait for this trip, we'll have 3 boys this time with our latest arrival in August. Going to be interesting with a baby, that's for sure.
