Awe! This was so adoreable, when do they do this, how early in November? We'll be there from 1-8th then onto Universal till the 11th- would it possibly be done during this time or will it be towards end of Nov. I would just love my girls to see this. They have never been to Disney around the holidays. One year we have to do that!

I decided not to book the Fantasmic! package since we don't like H&V and no one wants to eat at MM. But we will be there the first week of November which shouldn't be too bad. Last year at the end of August we were able to just walk in and got really good seats in the center towards the top so we could see everything and also get out quickly when it was over.

That is my plan. I really don't want to waste a meal a place I'm not interested in just for the Fantasmic! package.

Here's hoping we get good seats!!

Just spent the last 2 hrs on disney website and found out that not only will we still be there for the Castle lighting but also for Mickey Very Magical Christmas Party- we are actually heading over to Universal on the 8th-11 but the first night of the MVMCP is on the 9th from 7-12 and so we will just head over there that evening- It is a surprise for the girls as they have NEVER been at Disney for any holiday let alone Christmas! They are going to be so exicted when I just casually tell them...well we kind of have plans tonight to do something really special then head over to the Magic Kingdom-- they will think that the Disney part of their trip is over when in fact, there will be one last special surprise!! I can't wait. This is shaping up far better than I ever imagined it would!! Come on November!!!

Thanks! I guess I should have written that I would like to eat there with chrs. not F! Time just doesn't allow for it this trip. I was in the hospital waiting room looking on here and my mind just wasn't thinking and writing what I was really trying to say this morning! Art of Animation bus service...shared or not shared with Pop?

I'm thinking about switching my family to AofA...don't wanna schlep 11 people on over crowded buses if I can help it..

The resort does look amazing though...

I just read on AllEars tonight that the busses are NOT shared. There's only 1 bus stop at AoA, by the main entrance (closest to the Nemo suites, farthest from the Little Mermaid rooms).

The castle lighting is at 6pm but the fireworks times vary each night depending on closing time. Wishes is usually between 8-10 and is not shown on nights the park closes early for MVMCP.

I think the lighting ceremony is at 6 PM. We saw it a couple of times last year, once on a MVMCP night. The time may be different on party nights. Sorry, I can't remember.

I worked on my itinerary cards last night. Nothing too detailed...just something with our daily parks, ADRs and special things on. I making a booklet for DMIL and myself. Tonight I've got to work on the kids booklets.

Bought my return flights home last night. They had gone up $5 each, but were still $126 a ticket and since I got flights down with points it ended up costing just over $500 for 4 of us. Maybe could have gotten $99 if I waited but I was worried. Peace of mind is worth $100.
Also decided to do MVMCP on the 12 th, but waiting to be able to buy discounted DVC tickets.

When you book, they give you a time. Ours was 815 or 830 I cant remember. Then you wait in a line, you are seated and you are free to get dessert. Then you sit and talk and wait for wishes to start Wishes on the party night was 930 and we sat at 830 then the castle lighting ceremony started we watched that then we sat for a bit and watched the castle change colors.... it was magical. I cant wait!
