Where do you guys look to find the crowd forecast? I had read on one list that the week we are going is rated the 7th best week to go, I hope so!
And how will we know when the new fantasyland restaraunts start taking reservations? Will they just show up on the reservation sight? It would be cool to try Be Our Guest.

Yes they should show up BUT you will most likely hear it on here first :rotfl:

I just got off the phone and the CM said H and V is only participating in the Fantasmic package for dinner in November. I was trying for November 11th. :confused3

Should I try again? Online I can only get dinner times to come up too.

If you want to book it, id do it now. 2 days ago they had tons of times now only a few:eek:

I was thinking that might be the case, I get all my good Disney info and gossip here! We went for a few days in May and I read right before we left about the changes to FP. and I was so glad I did or we wouldn't have gotten to use our Soarin FP.

Don't know if you guys have already discussed this being new and unable to read 100+ pages, but when we were down in May we got to do the Sorcerers game in th MK. Just wanted to let you know in case it wasn't on your radar that it was really cool and you should plan a little time for it.
Most important thing is every day that you go to MK, sign up even if you aren't going to do it because you get a new pack of spell cards. And register everyone because you each get cards. We did it the 2 days we were there, my kids only got to play one round, but we have 40 cards now we can use for next time. The line was really short, it takes a little longer the first time because you get more instruction, but after that it's really quick. The cards are really cool and the graphics are really neat in the game. My DS8 can't wait to go back and do it again!

I've seen multiple references to the dessert party?? What exactly is that? Is it with the characters? And how would I go about reserving for this. Finally finalized our meal plan yesterday....huge job with trying to satisfy everyone's tastes. Thanks so much. The information here is awesome!

Its a dessert party that is offered at Tomorrowland Terrace and you get a special viewing area for wishes. They offer desserts too and they are sooooo good! Nope no characters but we like it and are doing it this time too. The reservations open up about 60 days out and its offered only in the evenings

If you press make a reservation and scroll to November, you can see what days itll be offered while you are there so you can plan now if maybe you want to attend. i am planning on it so I am switching some ADR's now just in case HTH!

Never heard of this... we will be in the MK 3 different times (2 full days, MVMCP and then our departure day) This might be a cool thing to do! Where is it located? is this it? http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/magic-kingdom/attractions/sorcerers/

We are planning to be there Nov 24 and leave on the 29 for Universal. I plan to book All Star Movies when free dining is announced.:cool1:

Question...is the castle all in lights every night or just for the MVMCP?:confused3

We were supposed to be there now:mad: but for medical reasons couldn't go. We decided not to tell our DD7 until a couple weeks before. I'm planning a scavenger hunt. I love planning.:cloud9:

Yes, that is it. For anyone who's been on the Dream, it's like the art scavenger hunt. There are 2 locations to sign up and then there are different challenges in each land of the park. We signed up in the firehouse at the front of the park, next to the barber shop. Not sure where the other one is located.

Is anyone else NOT making reservations for a Fantasmic! package? We want to see Fantasmic!, but it's my understanding that the reserved seats aren't that great. Can anyone confirm?

We cancelled ours yesterday. The seats are okay, but all the way to one side. Pretty much the worst seats for the show, however you can see the show from anywhere in the stadium.

The castle is lit up every night and let me tell you it is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I heard that too BUT I also didnt want to stand in line for an hour.

We've never waited in the line and have always gotten seats. The only time I would be concerned about not getting seats would be the most crowded weeks of the year. But even then they usually add a 2nd showing which is much less crowded.

I use 3 sites and compare them all- Tourguidemike, Touring Plans and EasyWDW.
Yes, they'll show up on there and it will be ALL OVER every Disney site :thumbsup2

Hollywood & Vine only have dinners for F! because lunch is a character meal
Is the line really that bad mid november when the crowd level is a 3? I can do it if I have to, but I'd have to cancel our ADR at SciFi Dine In and figure out what to put in place for our HW&V breakfast.

We didnt do F! last year the second week of November because all of Sunset Blvd was covered with people waiting and the line stretched way back :( Thats why we decided on the dining package

I read your post and thought well maybe we dont need to do the F! package ;)

The theater holds about 9,000 people :thumbsup2 We always walk in right as the crowd starts going in. We've usually sat towards the center, both down low and up high (we prefer higher up, you can see the whole thing better in my opinion).
