Last month some time on the DIS podcast they briefly mentioned a rumor that perhaps Disney was bringing back the Lights of Winter at Epcot. Guess we can keep our fingers crossed!:goodvibes

I got very excited when I heard that on the podcast! We have seen them before and its SO beautiful and magical walking through them. I really hope they bring them back :goodvibes

I would LOVE to see the Lights of Winter. I just adore Christmas lights. Of course, I still need to see the Osbourne lights. This year will be the year.

I don't remember ASMo being decorated when we went Nov. 11-15, 2010, but the parks seemed fairly decorated. I loved the giant Christmas trees, but the best was watching the lighting of the castle.

My daughter really wants to see Fantasmic this trip. However, I'm unsure now that I'm seeing all of the comments about it. We've never seen it so I think we need to just once anyway. Right?

Yes, you definitely need to see it st least once! We actually like it, its our 2nd favorite night time show (Wishes is our favorite )

Gooood Morning, All! Still no FD for us :-( but I was able to call Disney Dining at 10:00am to make my ADRs!! Thursday, Nov 29th- 4:30 1900 PF (arrival day - early dinner before MVMCP)
Nov 30th- 8:10 BBB, 9:30 CRT, 7:00 CMC (this is Princess's actual bday - and if BOG is open it will be replacing CMC!)
Dec 1st - 5:20 AKR
The only thing I wasnt able to schedule was a CR dinner on the 2nd. CM said it wasnt loaded into the system yet!
I'm so excited! Now if I got the email for FD I'd really float away on Cloud Nine <3 Hope everyone has a Magical Day!!

If I send you the tshirts will you make them for me??? ;)

Those look awesome!!

speaking of binders.........I used to keep one, but to be honest, now i keep everything digitally online and when it comes to using my schedule in the park, i've found i like something small. I usually take our daily schedule, type it up, tape/glue or print on notecards- like index size and then mom laminates the cards. then we punch a hole and put a key ring through. it is the perfect size to grab (and store in a backpack or small purse) and look at our daily schedule and ADRs. I can't find a pic, but could take one. Here is the info i put on it:

first card- reservation # for hotel, rental car confirmation #, flight info
daily schedule card would look like this:
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 11

7:15am wake up, brkfst in room
8:30am head to Epcot
9am Epcot opens
10:45am hit F&W booths
2pm break
4:30pm to Poly
5:15pm dinner at Ohana
7pm to MK (open til 11pm)

everything else i keep online and accessible in more detail and on my mobile phone. tons of apps for you to use for that.

also- here are some cute wrist bands i ordered to put our cell on it and have DS wear in case he gets lost:

Those wristbands are awesome! Do you happen to remember where you got them?

I hope they bring this back. We would love it. I can't wait to take DD into osborne lights. She went back to the hotel to go swimming with MIL when DH and I went to see the lights.

I would have loved to see them as well! I hope they do bring them back!

SO I know everyone is tired of hearing about my F! dilema BUT I was thinking. If we have dinner at 9pm(if we keep it) then we have an 8 am ADR at Akershus which WE ARE KEEPING! ACK :faint: I didnt realize! I forgot I had it! No I still ahvent made my mind totally up yet or not. I know I keep second guessing myself. Anyone else not 100% sure of their dininng yet?

Thanks guys!!! :goodvibes I hope that those of you who haven't gotten a PIN yet, will recieve one in the next few weeks :goodvibes Don't give up!

Also, those shirts are pretty cool :cool1:

I also can't believe how much I've missed in this thread by not being on the DIS for a few days...eek! :scared:

Anyone else not 100% sure of their dininng yet?

I'm not sure of mine just yet  I'm not sure if I've shared my ADR's here or not...but so far I've got

Oct 29 - 'Ohana, 8:05 pm (would much rather have something for 6 pm or so, but haven't been able to find anything earlier than this for my whole stay)
Oct 30 - Coral Reef, 5:45 pm
Oct 31 - Tusker House, 8:05 am
Nov 1 - 50's Prime Time, 5:50 pm
Nov 2 - Yak'n'Yetti, 4:45 pm
Nov 3 - Teppan Edo, 7:30 pm
Nov 7 - Kona Cafe, 7:45 am (OOP, our DDP ends on Nov 6 when we check out of our first hotel...hoping to make RD at the MK this morning)

I still have 2 TS credits left each, (for Nov 4 and 5) but haven't planned on what park to go to on the 4th (maybe AK for the am EMH?) and 5 (take in the pm EMH at HS?). I would like to try out Whispering Canyon Cafe at some point, and going back to the Brown Derby would be nice too...don't know if I necessarily want to do them or not though. I might just leave them open for now and see what happens...

I hope they bring this back. We would love it. I can't wait to take DD into osborne lights. She went back to the hotel to go swimming with MIL when DH and I went to see the lights.

The Lighs of Wonder were one of my FAVORITE Christmas traditions at Disneyworld with my son. We would stake out a bench, get some coffee & hot chocolate, & just relax & listen to the music & watch the lights.

It is one of my MOST missed Christmas traditions at Disney. I sent an email years ago to Disney when they decided not to put them back up, got a standard reply.

But in going for the past 8 years during December, the lights are truly getting cut back on. There is less lights at Epcot & Magic Kingdom. They used to have white lights in almost all the trees at MK & around the trees that surround the Epcot lake, but every year, there seems to be less of them. They place the lights in the trees close to the castle, but no longer have them in the multiple trees within the parks, I really miss all those beautiful lights.

If you don't go every December (we skipped Disneyworld last December & went to Universal Studios/Hard Rock Hotel in November instead), you really notice the difference.

Still not sure if we will be able to continue with our November trip this year, unless the cost of airfare does not go down.

The Lights of Wonder are truly missed !!!!
