So the whole time I have been planning this trip, my mom who is going with us keeps kind of blowing me off or pretending to listen. Fast Forward to Monday- got FDing. she says phew THATs a load off her shoulders (  ) did I miss something...she wasnt on a bazillion and one phone calls! So yesterday, made ADR's for 2 hours  she says well did we get the castle-yes mom we have CRT...... well this Teppan Edo kamocozy place where they throw shrimp at you (:rotfl2: ) the girls will be scared...no mom they wont. Well I dont like it (:lmao: ) youv never eaten there mom. SO today, mom comes over and looks at the planning binder and sees 'RGR guess its Royal Guest Room (:rolleyes1 ) the cats out of the bag...she knows! The JIG is UP! No more surprise ( :headache: ) and looks at the ADR's and menus and LOVED everything... GO FIGURE :rotfl2: :rotfl:

My family is the same... I basically have to force them to listen to ideas so I can make decisions. Most of the time DH will just say "do whatever you like and surprise me"

The kids were also a bit hesitant about Teppan Edo but I really want to try it so I convinced them.

If you don't mind sharing, what do you include in your binder?
So far I haven't started printing anything. I have it all saved on my email but usually I will include our flight info, resort info, one page print out with all our ADR's, a one page schedule of the week. That's all I can think of.

Oh I also forgot to say that we have changed our dates by one day. We are now checking in 11/01 and checking out 11/6. When I got FD yesterday :cool1: I added the night of 11/1 to qualify but we decided we prefer to keep the same number of nights as before so that DS misses only one school day and not two.

I have the sections for the days, behind them are the parks, then the confirmation ADR pages then the menus. In the front of the binder is my photpass confirmation and will be our flight info

Ok Ill fix it

Yikes... does that mean $20 a day? I wonder how it would affect a MYW 3-day ticket?

I'm excited about joining the November crew. I guess I've got a lot of "post reading" to catch up on :)

Not sure. I think maybe it was for a 1 day pass. Some of DH's family were in California last week & I think they spent 1 day in DL.

My DH and DS14 have requested a Disney break for awhile :sad1:, so of course we are now getting tons of pin code postcards (5 in a year)! Well, our latest code gave us 35% off and I just couldn't stand to pass it up! I easily talked my mom in to taking a girls trip with me November 28-Dec.1. and we are going to stay at the POP. I've never stayed at a Value before (mostly because of space with 2 big guys), but it will be just fine for me and my mom. I'm really looking forward to it and I'm going to request the 50's bldg, which my mom will love.

I would LOVE to go on a girls only trip with my mother & sister!!!!

Please add us we are there from Nov 1-6 staying at PORS. We are from Australia and it is our first trip to Disneyworld ! So hoping for free dinning like so many of you, I've called a couple of times with no luck. Hope I get it soon because its not cheap to call from over here!

How exciting! We got your first post!!! :welcome: I will add you! Can you answer something for me that I have been wondering... Do australians get any special deals like UKers do?? Sometimes I think it would be better to fly to the UK just to turn around and fly to disney just to get a deal :rotfl: J/K of course

Unfortunately we don't. I wish we did as their special offers are amazing! Maybe because we are further away and prob have less visitors from Australia they forget about us? If you have any tips on how to get free dining or special offers it would be great! I have booked all our ADRs bar one they are:
11/1 - Narcoossee's - Dinner. I may change this if we can get California Grill at a better time then what is available now.
11/2 - Tony's Town Square for dinner - I have heard mixed reviews about this place but it was my partners fav menu from MK
11/3 - Ohanas -Dinner
11/4 - 50's Prime Time Cafe - Lunch
11/5 - We are at Epocot this day and are unsure whether we want to have a sit down or just try all the yummy food from the festival.

Do you think I could have an enjoyable tea time in the hour it will take my girls to do the Wonderland Tea Party? I could get reservations for all of us at 2PM, and the girls will be done at three. I thought tea would be a nice way to pass the time, but I'm wondering if this will be too rushed?

I'd love input from anyone that's done tea at the Garden View tea room!

I read that! I know WDW goes up in June right? Maybe I should pay off my trip before that or are we not effected?

Sorry if you answered this already. So, if we are booked do we need to pay off in order to keep from paying higher ticket prices?! I think I saw where they can adjust your pricing if prices go up! :confused3
