Crowd report of my dates!!! Now I can plan a little better. It's coming together.

That's ok...I LOVE planning but really felt I couldn't even think about it until the times came out and stuff. Guess now I can pin point where we'll eat each day or at least to 2 restaurants.

My airfare is BOOOOKED!

Today United had some $78 flights out of STL (all fees included!) and that was just TOOO good to pass up. We are flying non-stop there on Southwest and United home. I HATE stalking airfare with a passion. So I'm glad to have it done!

Now to think about ADR's. I think we might do a mostly ADR-less trip. My daughter wants to eat at Tusker House so that might be the only BIG meal we do.

Ahhhh! YOU just saved me $250!!! I had not looked at any of the other airlines b/c I was waiting for Southwest and b/c I knew none of them were nonstop, but I went straight to United and now have a hold for a week on our tickets, which are now only going to cost 314$ TOTAL for my husband AND I! This is why I love the DIS!!!

BTW, what highschool did you go to?!?! (insider St. Louis joke)

Congrats on thread #2! I've been following along all this time but just took the plunge and made the reservation. (And it seems like this new thread is full of "add me" requests already...how exciting!) ReservationS, actually. We are booked at WL for Nov 24-Dec 1 hoping for a really sweet room-only discount and have booked a back-up plan at the Dolphin (thanks, teacher discount rate...a pretty great back up plan) for Nov 23 -Dec 1. So please add us for whichever date and resort you feel more inclined to use! (Why a different arrival date for each resort?? Dolphin doesn't seem to have a holiday season teacher rate while even if a room discount comes up for WL, Friday the 23rd the day after Thanksgiving will certainly not be applicable and we aren't paying that rack rate!)

Would you mind adding us for either Nov 23 or 24? Thanks!

If the SW prices stay about what they are now, I can get 3 round trip flights paid for with my points for opening the credit card. THat means flights would only cost me about
$620 round trip for 2 RT tickets
$30 for the 3 9/11 fees(3 RT bought with points)
$69 cc annual fee
=$719 for 5 RT tickets vs $1540

Now if the flights just dont open up til I get my card and my points...then they can open and be super low so I can book

Yes I can add you Yes around May 1st MVMCP should be available. If not May 1st, shortly after. MK stays open til I believe !2am and I am not sure which rides stay open. When we were there last Dec, a majority of them were open during the party

We haven't been since 2009 but I remember that most of the attractions are open and I think the longest we waited was about 10 minutes for Peter Pan's Flight. Everything else that was open we walked right on to.

I am not sure if this is still the case but the Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor closed early (I believe around 10pm) during the party, but maybe some who has been more recently can confirm this.

If you have never been to the Christmas Party I would say it is a must do. The shows they have we really enjoy, the free cocoa and cookies is a nice touch and of course seeing it snow on Main Street USA and being able to walk on to most rides is really sweet.
