You'll need to update your phone to iOS 6 when it's released, probably within the next week or three... Or you can try out one of the existing panorama apps.

iOS 6 drops on Wednesday. You can activate the panorama feature in the camera options.

With no coffee maker in the room and "free" coffee requiring that I get dressed to go get it, it's a simple solution. We are driving so it will be easy enough to throw in the car and bring along. With early starts planned it'll make for a much happier daddy!

That is the best idea EVER! We're flying, but I may have to make some room in the suitcase!!! =)
At the very least I'm going to pack some non-dairy creamer for the Disney coffee. :yay:

My DH would soooo love to have his coffee maker in his room! We never drive down, so I guess that won't happen.

Question: Is anyone going to do Pick a Pearl at Epcot? Has anyone done it before? I was just curious as I was reading a thread about it. They said to pick an ugly hairy one.:rotfl: (Probably the only time you'd be encouraged to do that!:lmao:) We watched them doing it last September when we were there and saw some beautiful pearls being discovered.

You can ship things to the resorts too, depending on how important it is. Another alternative is the Starbucks VIA instant coffee. They work with hot and cold water and are good for an instant coffee.

I haven't done pick a pearl at Epcot but I did it somewhere else with my kids before. The pearl is neat but the catch is that they want to sell you a setting for it to turn it into jewelry. Just seemed like a bit of a scam to me. Others may have a different opinion though, that was just my experience.

Pick a pearl is a must do for us!!!!

Last time my boys picked 2 each...

I ordered 4 Cinderella carriage cage necklaces from eBay, and they gave them as gifts!!!!

1 to each Grandma, 1 to DS's Teacher, and the silver one to ME!!!!

DD11 did it last trip in Japan. I had bought her a Cinderella carriage cage on eBay for her to put it in so there was no discussion of having it made into jewelry there. It was fun; they make such a big deal out of the process. A pretty, cheap souvenir with a fun experience to go with it. She probably will want to do it again, but not sure what we would do with another one...

So I just got an iPhone and I'm loading disney apps. Anyone have any good ones?

Love, love, love my iPhone! Just got it in April. Did you get the 4 or the 5? I also have the My Disney Experience app as well as Mobile Magic. Not sure if Mobile Magic is any good since MDExperience was to sort of take its place. Have fun playing around with your new phone!:cool1:

So funny...
I'm cleaning out my bedside table & found the receipt for our Epcot pearls!!!

They were $15.96 + tax (1.04) = $17.00 each
:thumbsup2

This is a great idea! As a teacher, I would love to get that as a gift.

Thanks!

We took pictures of him pointing to the oyster he wanted, them opening it & him holding the pearl and put them in the card with the gift!!! She loved it so much I thought she would cry!!!! :cloud9:

I had heard of it before but never really thought much of it. But now after reading about it again here, I'm thinking I'd like to get one for myself when we go.
