YAY! Love surprise trips! I'm trying to squeeze in another one between this Nov and next Dec but ugh..kids schedule isn't allowing it. YAY for you!!!!

Okay fellow nov-ites which 2 would you choose for lunches out of the following restaurants?

Le Cellier
Teppan Edo
Coral Reef

My family is no help.

First of all...I love the nov-ites name! :rotfl: I would choose Le Cellier and Coral Reef. But I do love Teppan Edo. It's a cut above the habachi place near us. Hope you can get something at Le Cellier!:goodvibes

we are back..dd has been diagnosed with allergy's and asthma. We will start the new meds and hopefully that will cure the sleep apnea and let her sleep thru a whole night. :yay:

It's just so great to know what your dealing with once and for all, isn't it? Hope everything works out and gets the sleep issues resolved!::yes::

Welcome to our thread!!:hyper: We tend to chat a bit, so join right in.
Love the idea of an unexpected trip!! And I think you'll really love POFQ. It is our favorite resort. It is so compact and intimate. You're never far from the food court or the bus stop. The pool is loads of fun too. Be sure and take the boat to downtown Disney. :goodvibes

64 more days! I am so excited!

I have 90 days, but I'm getting there!!!:dance3:

79 more days! =)

Has anyone been to planet hollywood? Is it any good? We are doing that for my son's 3rd bday! I would've loved to have his dinner at TRex, but its completely booked. We barely decided, just in july, to go to DW this november for his bday =)

We have been there, and it was just ok. Nothing really great. It's typical of all the other ones & very touristy IMO and if you like stuff like that then I suppose you'll like it. The food wasn't too bad but again I've had better. So many other better places to dine IMO around Disney.

What restaurants would you recommend? I'm not that thrilled about PH. But we are on a tight budget since we're having another vacation somewhere else 2 wks after disney...

definately not first choice for 3 year old IMO. If Trex was in your budget, I would go to Crystal Palace for breakfast. It is our favorite with Pooh and Tigger. Or maybe Rainforest, but can be scary for 3yr old. PH can be a good value as you get those 15.00 vouchers but not themed for young.

How about Chef Mickey's?? I just love that place and its really a fun place for kids- they have character meals for breakfast and dinner. Also Cape May Cafe is another great place over at Yacht and Beach Club.

Have you tried calling Trex directly? When I went to book our res Disney had it completely booked but then someone on these boards said call direct and i got what i wanted.

Great idea, and yes I do remember that as well. I would definitely try doing this. You just might get what you want. Good luck

Yes! :-) I was able to call directly and get a reservation at trex for his birthday. Now he's totally excited! Is it safe to go ahead and cancel my PH ressie? Thanks all! =)

Yes, I would say it is safe to cancel PH. Your son will love T-Rex. My son thought it was awesome! We went for his 6th birthday. They also have a build a dino (part of Build a Bear) there. We did it for his birthday and he had so much fun.

PH is a lot like the Hard Rock Cafe. Memorabilia and American food. Burgers, fries, chicken, etc. Pretty standard stuff. You go for the atmosphere and while the food isn't bad, it's no different than an Applebee's or something like that. Prices are jacked up because of the theme and in this case, because of the Disney association. I've been to a few, including DTD and typically enjoy it. It's currently sitting in an open spot that we have one evening that we wanted to hit DTD. We will have the $15 off voucher due to the DDP so that's part of the attraction to it. T-Rex looks like fun although I'm sure my kids would be terrified of it, as they were at Rainforest Cafe. Since you got a reservation there I'd say go for that and have a blast!

I'm new here but have been following you girlies for a while:) my husband and I are taking our 2 yr old to DW for his 3rd birthday dates 11/18-11/23. Its all of our first times there and we're really excited. Now I gotta start looking into what we'll be doing once we're there :cool1:

I just saw that you were from Texas too! We're coming the 17th through the 24th so we'll be there at the same time! :cool1: We're 78 days until we leave and 79 days until we arrive. I can't wait! :yay::yay::yay:
