Who all is doing MVMCP? Ours is Nov. 16th & I am super excited to see MK all gussied up for Christmas. I might be the last time we get to see it at this time of year before my oldest heads off to college, so it is very sentimental to me.

For those that put in special requests for specific floors, buildings, etc. When do you do that? Do you typically do it when you book your trip or do you call in later? I'm thinking of requesting building 7 or 9 at AoA LM for our trip. Debating on if I want to see the lake or be closer to the parking lot.

i called about 2 weekes ago and added Oak Manor to my requests...you can do it anytime. I would do it now vs 5days out LOL

My special request have been in from day one. And when I have had reason to call back I always double check them.

Write it in your reservations and then about 5-7 days out, send a fax to the resort you're staying at to request your preference. Just remember less is more! This is especially helpful if it's a medical concern or another issue that the room allocation team needs to be aware of.

so we have a breakfast ressie at CM(which Im trying to make earlier...) at 1040 the day we leave ME wont leave from POR til 5 so plenty of time. but I was thinking maybe scheduling dessert at LTT for 2pm? too close to ME time? or too close to breakfast?

You should be fine both from breakfast and ME. They usually pick you up 3 hours prior to flight time, so I think you're looking at 5PM if you're flight is at 8. Please come back and tell us how that dessert was...I've been thinking about it ever since you first mentioned it, but we're doing LTT for dinner, so we won't be able to taste it.

I usually put my requests in when I book, but this time I forgot, so will be calling in a couple of days to request the building I would like. I usually never get any requests I make, but it's all good.

As for the building to request at AoA, will you be driving to the parks or taking the buses? If driving, being close to the parking lot may be handy after a long day at the parks. But it sure is relaxing to have nice water view. Either way, I think you'll be good to go!

Now gotta get some work done and get ready for Open House and school shopping for DD5. I'm a nervous wreck!!! Not to mention I just registered DD16 to tour a college. UGH.

School starts the day after Labor Day here, but on that note it's the 3rd week of June when they get out of school.

Mine are starting Sept 4th. In fact I just picked up their packettes today so we know what teacher they have. and Im kind of having a melt down. DD4 will be 5 Oct 20th so we decided to send her to young fives instead of kindergarden. Well all the other kids that she has became best friends with are going to kindergarden without her. She's not really younger then them. they are all with in a few months of each other. Ive been crying all day about taking her away from her friends. We decided not to send her because she would be 4 for the first 7 weeks of school and we thought that was too young for kindergarden. I know this is right. Im just so sad.

Hugs from me! We grappled with this decision all year. Today is my Olivia's 5th birthday. Mid year her per school teacher said it would be best to hold her back but she was re-evaluated at the end of the school year and has caught up.. I'll be worried all year but she's excited. Know you made the best choice for,her!
