November 2012...Let's Countdown Together

Well we prefer going the week before OR the week after Thanksgiving. But, since the kids are getting older (they will be 11 & 8 this year), we are sucking it up and booking "Jersey Week" .

Our dates are November 4- November 9. Now we just have to agree on what resort......

I can't WAIT :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

How busy does it get? I booked October 21-28 but am thinking about changing my plans since I want to see Disney Christmas! But I can't decide since I've read it'll be very busy?! Help!! I can't decide

The last few years have been insane for us, but it looks like we may have finally found a time we can get back to the World. November 16-23. DS15 will only have to miss 2 days of school.
DH has never been a fan like DS and me(in fact, he normally stays home while we go and enjoy), but after the stress-filled couple of years I've had at work, he's more than happy to go with us so he can support my R&R! Can. Not. Wait. :goodvibes

we're going! yey!!!
november 17-24 at Grand Beach Resort and November 24-28 at Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando!

this will be our first time at WDW and first time in Orlando all together!

im glad i can have you guys to wait this out with me!!! :)

We're heading back to WDW November 24th thru December 1st...now booked to stay in the Little Mermaid area of the Art of Animation resort. We were supposed to go March 4th-11th, but 2 days after Christmas (when we surprised the kids with the WDW trip), our car engine had to be replaced. Lots of money was spent on it so we couldn't rationalize going then. So we were thrilled when we rebooked on Friday.
We sure hope more of Fantasyland is up and running. But we're still excited to be staying at the new Art of Animation!!:santa:

Hopefully you can add us to the list. DD has the pageant bug and is competing in the Georgia Miss American Coed pageant in July. If she is in the top 5 in her division, she will go to Natioinals which is the week of Thanksgiving at WDW!!!! She does not even care to win the pageant, she just wants to be in the top 5. Send prayers her way in July.

We will be staying at the Hilton at DTD November 17 - 24.

If anyone has been to the Miss American Coed Nationals before, could you help a mom out with the schedule so I can plan our days for the parks.

We're so excited to be back to WDW in November! Not so excited about the dates, 11/17-24. But now that we have a freshman in high school, I can't just go whenever. I'm starting to read all of the posts right now and to try to figure out what we'll do for Thanksgiving.

Our first trip to Disney World already reserved for Nov 27 - Dec 4, 2012! We are so excited! I won 2 plane tickets at work, so staying at the Poly CL!! Whoo Hooo!!

I just booked for November 30 - December 3rd for a trip with my sister. Our goal is go down every year to be kids again - just the two of us. We're almost 30 and it never gets old :thumbsup2

Add me to the list: November 28th- Dec 6th to avoid the crowds
Staying at our home resort, AKL

Looks like we will be there Thanksgiving week. Wish it was during a slower period but that would only take the kids out of school 2 days and one of the few weeks dh can get away. So excited to be going again as I desparately need a vacation.

Taking my mom from November 5-November 12. It will be 21 years since my mom has been to WDW, so I am sooo excited for her! Staying at Port Orleans French Quarter, which will be her first time staying on site. Can't wait!

We're going Nov. 9-18 staying at the POR (pretty sure). Haven't booked it yet though. Waiting for Southwest to come out with their flights first. This will be the kids first trip (DS 7 & DD 4).

We will be there Nov 16-24th. Staying offsite at a home in Emerald Island. We plan to do Seaworld, Discovery Cove, Magic Kingdom and some other offiste activites this trip.

We'll be at WDW from the 24th November to 8th December - 14 glorious days - at least 10 of which will be spent at WDW. Because of the duration of our stay, plus family members who like to get up early (that's DD13 and myself) and a saving of $3-4,000 .... we're going to stay off site at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. It's been 8 years since we've been and I can't wait to go back. Girls are now 11 and 13. Last trip they were 3 and 5!!!

Managed to switch our resort for the 1st part of our 3-part Disney Parks/Cruise/Disney Parks trip for November and Thanksgiving Week. We get to start making some ADRS NEXT WEEK and I have no idea what to book right now. I guess it's time to put together a tentative November 2012 Schedule!!! :thumbsup2

Plus the rumor mill is now talking about park ticket prices going UP next month...in June. We might have to look into purchasing our park tickets ahead of time to save some extra cash!!!

Planning our FIRST trip to Disney!!!! Staying at POR November 10-17 with one day visiting Sea World. We are at the 181 day mark today....ADRs tomorrow morning bright and early. :cool1:

My family and I will be taking my, at the time, 1 yr old brother to the place my Dad and I call home! We are planning for Thanksgiving Break so that way I will not have to miss any school! We are looking at staying at the value resorts and going to Magic Kingdom to get my brothers FIRST haircut. :)
