Thanks! How soon does everyone buy them? I wanna get them as soon as they come out just in case!

It will drive me nuts to see them go on sale knowing I can't buy yet. But I need time to commit on dates and flights. And these tickets are the one piece that aren't refundable.

We will be ariving on 11/11. Is the MVSCP really worth it? How late will the park be open on party nights?

Just got the "Game On XXXX Family" email. It said YOU ordered maps not its OUR turn....then it listed prices with the elusive H4A code (rack rate). This is DOPE! I hope that just means we will get something better soon.

Thanks for posting!! We'll be there December 1st -8th and have friends visiting in November. Can't wait!!

Mommyof3, I guess it's good that you will have a diagnosis and will know what you're dealing with. Maybe some better treatment options are on the horizon as well. Sending healthy positive thoughts your way.

Josh has updated the November Crowd Calendar and added his daily analysis for the first 15 days. :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2:
Yay! I just got done reading his analysis for our travel dates. It looks like my itinerary fits in with his recommendations pretty well, thankfully!

Well, I just got an e-mail from the Disney Itinerary Planners since I am now "Club Level" at WL, so I guess we need to finish plans sooner than later, LOL. Here is what I got so far. Let me know what you think

Weds. Nov 7th - Arrive to hotel around noon
DHS
No ADR planned, just winging it

Thurs. Nov 8th
Epcot, with a possible visit to DTD
ADR - Le Celliar for Lunch
ADR - Still thinking about dinner if needed

Fri. Nov 9th
Morning - AK
Evening - MK for MVMCP
ADR - Yak & Yeti (AK) for Lunch

Sat. Nov 10th
MK
ADR - Crystal Palace for an early dinner

Sun. Nov 11th
DHS
ADR - Mama Melrose for Fantasmic Lunch Package

Mon. Nov 12th
Morning - Epcot
Evening - MK for MVMCP
ADR - Coral Reef (Epcot) for Lunch

Tues. Nov 13th - Flight leaves at 4:30 PM from MCO
No park planned
ADR - Chef Mickey @ the Contemporary for character breakfast

So the big question is, should I try to do the ADRs myself or see what these planners can do?

Looks good! My only suggestion would be that you may want to rethink Mk on Saturday the 10th. It is supposed to be pretty darn crowded that day due to holiday weekend, EMH, Jersey Week, and Saturdays in general being busy there. Maybe you could do MK during the day Friday before the party when there will be lower crowds and AK on Sat. If not, just get there early, have a good plan, and you will do great.

We thought about that, but that Saturday is going to be one of the few times while we are there that we can do the Main Street Electrical Parade. Epcot will be slammed too, being the last weekend of Food & Wine.

We figure we will be there late morning onward, as we will have been to MVMCP the night before, and will relax in the morning. AK is usually just a half day event for us, as there is not much to do there we want to do over and over, like MK or DHS

Plus, our first trip together as a couple was Dec 26 thru Jan 2nd in 2009/10, and we were fine crowd wise, etc.

Just started another thread but we wont post in it until this one reaches 249 then I will post a link. Obviously everyone will see it lol. I just made it all fancy incase Im not on when it reaches 249 :)

Just received an email from TP that they have updated their crowd tracker levels!! For the week we are going (11-17) the hours, party dates, and crowd levels have been updated. I also noticed a couple other party dates that the park hours calendar show MK closing at 8pm. They must me predicting that Disney will be adding a couple parties the first full week of Nov.... only time will tell.

Its gonna be sad seeing this thread go.... oh well.

I am trying to get a hold of my brother and dad to see if they have their money ready for the MVMCP tix! Or trip dates are set. Everyone took off of work already so no changing them. I just wanna make sure I get the party that I want. I would like to do some other shows, special thingspirate cruise, jungle trek~ but not enough hours in the day!

Has anyone ever walked along the boardwalk? We are eating at Cape May Clambake dinner and want to spend the evening walking along the boardwalk just to see whats there. Are there any shops? i wanna try the No Way Jose at Beaches and Cream :goodvibes: with help eating it of course!

YAY!!! I'm going to check that out pronto!!! Thanks!!

We did Pirates and Pals in 2010 and we really enjoyed it. It is basically a snack buffet on the dock at the contemporary with a Captian hook and Smee meet and greet. Then, you board one of 2 boats with you pirate captian and head out on the lagoon. They do songs, stories and games as you sail, and you see the EWP and wishes from the lake. Audio is piped in and views are amazing. Thne it is more of the smae back to the dock where you are met by Peter Pan for a meet and greet. We thought it was well worth the price, and we were encouraged to clean out the buffet. We took lots of pre-packaged snacks back with us becuase the CM's just insisted we "take what you can, leave none for the rest"
This sounds like so much fun...I'm going to look into it for us! Thanks for the info!!

This just made my day to find out that I am not the only person opposed to the POFQ and Boadwalk pool. We stayed at POFQ in 2003 and I hated the look of that pool. We are staying at the Beach Club in November of 2012, but we thought about the Boardwalk. Once I looked at the pictures of the pool, I knew that resort was off my list. I thought it was just me and my anal-retentive ways.

Similarly, we stayed at the WL in 1996 and fell in love with the lodge. We have since wanted to return to that resort, but I am turned off by the bedding. I like the look of the WL villas much better, but I want to be in the main lodge.

IDK he is wierd about character pools BUT at the same time, I dont like tacky pools (IMHO) some just arent my thing:laughing:

We love to hang out on the boardwalk! We like to get Pizza from the Boardwalk Pizza Window, and sit and watch the Friendship Boats while we eat. The evening entertainment is fun, but it's not every night so check Steve Soares' site to be sure the Buskers will be there. We also like to roast marshmallows and watch the outdoor movie at the Beach Club - seeing the Boardwalk all lit up in the background is awesome!

We haven't spent a whole lot of time in the shops, but there are some! My kids like to visit Seashore Sweets.

When I'm just there with my DH we LOVE to go to Jellyrolls. Hopefully my mom and dad will hang with the kids one night during our trip so we can sneak over there!

You know I can only imagine..... what it is going to be like as our trips get close enough for us to start packing! :lmao:

This thread is going to go nuts. :rotfl:

It went nuts today!! :scared1: I can only imagine as the trip gets closer!

Thanks! How soon does everyone buy them? I wanna get them as soon as they come out just in case!

If I remember correctly, the first party and ones closest to Christmas sell out first. Friday nights sell more then week nights because of the locals.

WOW! It's been a fun ride so far! Looking forward to the next thread! popcorn::

I guess Disney is going to wait to see how the parties they have scheduled already sell.

I'm hoping to make it to Beaches & Cream too! I want to surprise the family with the kitchen sink! I know we'll never eat all of it, but I think the kids (and DH) would love it.

The clown pool scares me too, but then again, clowns scare me. :scared1: I don't really understand the dragon pool at POFQ.... alligators, I would get. :confused3
